Before review blogging, I owned just a few purses.  I didn’t realize how much of a fashion accessory a purse was – it’s more than just a place to store junk!  A nice purse really makes an outfit complete.  I am realizing that it would be very easy to get carried away with purses (like shoes).  The only really annoying thing about owning more than one purse, is changing it with every outfit.  I have to take out my wallet, keys, lipsticks, and everything else that might have accumulated in my purse.  Sometimes, while changing out my purse, I have forgotten important things – like my credit card!  How does that happen?  Not sure, but leave it up to me,,,, it’s happened (more than once – why do I divulge this information to all of you?!?).

For all of you that like to change things up with different looks, there is an amazing purse out there that makes this task super easy!  Miche is the ultimate interchangeable purse.  I was sent the classic Miche purse and 3 shells for review.  I had heard of and seen Miche bags before, so I was very excited to put them to the test.

I want to start off by saying that changing the shells is so so so easy, it takes about 10 seconds (or less) to completely change the look of my purse, and there is no way that I am going to forget anything in my old purse (because the purse itself didn’t change).  There are a few different types of shells, the slouchy shells cover the entire purse and even give your purse a new more of a hobo style look, and the other shell is a little harder and gives your purse a clutch look (just a little bigger).

The shells stick to the Miche bag with a magnet, and it’s pretty strong!  There is no way that the shell can come off the purse without being physically taken off.  The magnets at the top of the purse keep the shells in place at all times.  But when I want to change the look of my purse, I simply pull the magnets apart take the shell off and replace - seriously, that simple.

The great thing about the Miche bags is that there is nearly endless choices in shells – but before you pick your shells, you have to pick your base.  There are 2 choices – brown or black.  I chose the black, because I seem to wear a lot more black than brown.  Then comes the really fun (and hard) part – choosing the shells.  Like I mentioned before, there are 2 styles of shells, the slouchy shells that gives your purse a bit of poof, it has four sides and completely covers your base purse .  I chose 2 different slouchy shells, the Ashley which is a brand new line (not even on the internet yet).  It is a fun corduroy type material with summery flowers.  This shell also has a flap that closes the purse, if you don’t like to use zippers.  This is great for summer days.  I also received the Linda slouchy style shell.  This one is a nice black with little bumps for extra style and an extra pocket on the outside for quick access to change or lip chap.  This style is very nice for a classy purse for an evening out.  I also received the Josie which is a hard shell with fun green orange and black dots – great for a nice summer evening out.  This is the easiest shell to change because there are only 2 sides to it.

The Miche classic bag is not a large bag I can put my wallet, sunglasses, my camera and a few other things in there, there is also one zipper pocket and two elastic type pockets.  If you want a bigger bag, there is a brand new bigger bag called the Max.  It’s much larger and has the same interchangeable capabilities to change your purse as your style changes.

On top of changing the purse shell, you can also change the straps.  This takes just a few more minutes than changing the shells.  The rings are like a carribeaner that has a little collapsible part (it needs to be pushed).  It’s easy to take off one strap and put on another.  My Miche Bag came with 3 different straps all together.  Short ones, longer ones with metal chains and longer straps.  To be honest, I didn’t even realize that the straps could be changed till the good people at Miche told me (that’s how solid the rings are).  My favourite straps are the long ones, makes the purse reach my hips.

Overall, I absolutely love my Miche bag!  It is so adorable and it’s so easy to change the look of the bag with my outfit and emotions.  The shells don’t take up a lot of space either, which is great when you feel like your house is bursting at the seams!

I was given the Wink Black purse for review.  This purse is the ultimate in changing it’s look.  There are 6 different ways to change this purses look, and it is easy to make all the changes.  My favourite way to wear the purse is to turn down the top section and reveal the inner striped fabric.  The purse can easily be folded down even further to make a shorter purse with a larger striped band.  The handles have a large clip at the bottom which makes it easy to hook onto which ever length of rings you like.  Since I am currently using this as a diaper bag, I like the bag to be as big as possible, and only have about 1 inch of the stripes showing.  The bag can also be worn as a hobo style bag with a single strap that goes over the top of the bag.  The Wink bag also comes with a little mini clutch which I put my camera in.  The lining of the clutch is an exact match to the Wink bag.  The bag has one large compartment with no pockets so it makes it very easy to place all the babies accessories inside.  It’s soft and malleable as can be so it fits under the stroller as well.  This is by far the most beautiful diaper bag that a mom could have.  I love that it is light weight, can change it’s look and fits a tremendous amount of items.  This is the ultimate bag if you can’t decide on just one look.  Check out this video on Facebook to see all the different ways this bag can be used.

I was also given the Season purse in brown for review.  This is the absolute best fashion purse with the leather like roses and leaves that dangle from the handles.  The purse has 3 sections, along with 2 zipper pockets, a cell phone holder and a few other little pouches.  This is my newest purse that I use everyday.  I can keep all the necessities in there (including a pair of emergency baby shoes), my wallet and my cell phone (that I recently got back, now that I am back to work).  The purse isn’t HUGE, but it is a very decent size, it is deep and nothing ever falls out.  It is very well made and I get a tremendous amount of compliments while I am out and about using this purse.  Even my father in law commented about how nice my purse was.  For a man to notice a purse, you know it has to be nice.  This purse is pure elegance without being flashy, it’s just a classic beautiful purse.  The handles are long enough to hold with my hand, or to place over my shoulder.  I truly love the Seasons Bag, and it is just so soft to top it all off.

I also received the Mod Passport holder in Green from Espe.  This is what I use as a wallet.  The passport holder has 4 slots for cards and a see through slot for an ID.  I have a lot of cards (credit cards, debit, library cards, airmiles,,, among many other) and I am able to fit all my cards in the wallet and close the passport holder!  It is rather large, and may not be for everyone to be used as a wallet-it is suppose to be used for a passport!  There are 3 large dividers on the other side which is supposed to be used for plane tickets, but that is where I put all my money, receipts and other important documents.  There is no place to put change in the Passport holder, so I just throw my change in one of the zippered pockets in the Seasons purse.  Without change, the wallet is lighter and not as bulky.  Sometimes, if running into a store quickly, I will just grab the Mod Passport holder rather than bringing along my whole purse.  I love my new wallet.

Before I started review blogging, I only had one purse that I used – that’s it.  It’s a black and white purse (a popular brand name), but I never felt the need to have more than one purse, because black and white matches with everything – pretty much.  Well, that is until this pink and brown phase came into my life.  I was still using my black and white purse, but always seemed to have some accessories and outfits that had a dash of pink and brown in them.  Now I can see the need to have more than one purse.  Not only to match an outfit, but there are evening purses, summer purses, and the purse that has to carry everything when I am out with my daughter.

For review I received a pink, brown and white tote bag.  This 144 Collection purse is perfect for the summer.  It is nice and light, and the colours match with nearly all my summer outfits.  I have a few pairs of fancy brown sandals that look great with this purse.  The purse handles are just long enough to either fit over my shoulder or just for latching onto with my hand.  There is also a generous sized zippered pocket inside the purse along with a cute detailed pocket in the front – it looks like a crescent moon.  The purse also has a zipper that goes across the top of the purse to keep all my items safe from falling out.  The sewing job on this purse is also excellent.  I really love how light weight this purse is, how stylish it looks and how it makes me feel.  It makes me feel light, young and hip.  I currently do not have a cell phone (I know, I know don’t judge me), but will have one when I return to work.  Although this purse does have a zipper pocket, it does not have a separate cell phone pocket.  Maybe Lesia is trying to tell us all something – leave the cell phones home!

I am thrilled to bring you this next review.  Espe is the creation of a few posh women in Toronto, Ontario who wanted to make handbags and wallets stylish and affordable for all women!  Not only are they helping ladies be stylish, but they are also concerned about the environment at the same time.  All of Espe’s items are 100% animal cruelty free and are animal friendly.  Their products are made from polyurethane, a durable synthetic leather, this means that the toxins that are released from the dying process are not released into the environment.  

Espe not only has fantastic styles of bags and accessories, they are also very nice people to do business with.  I dealt with Jamie and Eva (the owner) of Espe.  Both very extremely friendly and fast at returning emails.  I received my package from Espe just 4 days after it was shipped (and it was shipped on a Friday).  The people at Espe want to make sure that their products are going to arrive to their clients quickly and in good shape.  The package was shipped directly to my door.

I received a number of items from Espe.  All are made from the softest polyurethane, and have unique details that are included on each item.  Whether it is a raised flower or a a detailed stitching, each item has it’s own unique flair that makes these products special.  

The first is an adorable lunch bag!  This cute lunch bag will make all your friends ask where you got your bag.  I pack my lunch almost everyday when I go to work (I’m on mat leave right now and only have 3 months left).  I usually just pack my lunch in my purse, and by the time lunch time comes around, my sandwich is all squished and warm.  My apple is no longer crisp, and my water is as warm as the room.  This lunch bag not only has style, but it has function.  It is very roomy, there is enough room for a bottled water, a microwaveable dinner, an apple, banana, almost anything that you would want to have for lunch, it will be able to fit in your adorable lunch bag.  The bag also insulated so cold things will stay cold and hot things will stay hot!

No one will even know that you are carrying a lunch bag this is just so cute.  It looks like a little mini purse, and I’m sure you could use it for that as well if you don’t mind in the silver lining on the inside.  Everyone will be talking about your lunch bag, and I’m sure you will get a few offers to trae lunches!

The next item that I was sent from Espe, was a super cute wallet.  This is made from the same polyurethane, and is exceptionally soft.  The wallet is nice and long, and there is ample space to put all your cards, and money (do you still carry cash in your wallet?  I always seem to be cashless).  What is really cute about this wallet is the little clip is along the top of the wallet rather than the middle.  This little detail really adds a touch of class to an already superb product.  The bright colours of this wallet really stand out and people notice it.  It always feels nice when other women make comments on your items.  It sure makes me feel like I am stylish.  The wallet stays looking in the best condition and will close even with all the cards in it, and the material has not cracked or pulled in anyway.  Young or old, there is something for everyone at Espe.  I recently went to a women entrepreneur meeting, and noticed another woman with a great Espe wallet as well.  These wallets are so unique it is obvious that they are made by Espe.  That is one feature that I really like about Espe.  Some products are very generic, but at Espe, each item is unique and special, but they all carry that same Espe flair so they stand out from other products.  Way to go Espe!

I also received a cute little business card holder from Espe.  This is such a great idea for the busy Entrepreneur Mom on the go.  I can just throw this cute little holder into my purse and I will know where my cards are in a flash, and I will look smart pulling out my business card from this holder!  Many people just put a few cards in their wallets, and when it comes time to give a card out to a client, the card is all bent with the edges turned in.  The card holder is the perfect size so the cards have no opportunity to move around and get ruined.  So, you will be making an impression to your clients when you pull out your business card with this card holder.

The last item I received from Espe, is a bag tag.  This bag tag complete with the signature Espe bright colours is very swanky for a bag tag.  Who ever thought a bag tag could look so good?  Everyone now a days has a black suitcase with wheels.  I can guarantee that you will be the only one with a classy looking bag tag like the ones at Espe and you will have no troubles at all finding your luggage (although you may have some people wanting to take a closer look at your bag tag).  The strap is actually like a watch wrist strap with 3  holes for different sizes, so it could fit on nearly any bag that smaller than 2 inches around.

Espe takes a lot of pride in their items and have created a brand like no other handbag company I have seen.  Their items are youthful, yet are very stylish and are items that someone any age can use.  They stay hip with the trends. They have many stylish items such as camera cases, and even blackberry cases and cosmetic bags, you will be surfing this site for a while admiring all their great items.

I remember as a child my mother would always be looking for things in her purse and say something like, “oh, I must have that in my other purse.”  I used to think, “why does my mom need so many purses?  If she only had one purse, she would never leave things in the other purse.”  Well, now that I am all grown up, I can totally understand what my mother was going through.  I only have about 3 or 4 purses, and I know of women who have WAY more than that.  I am always leaving things in my “other” purse, even my wallet.  Ok, how do I forget my wallet in my other purse?

Jacqueline and her Mom, both of Toronto, Ontario saw a need for all women to be able to have a handbag that can function both during the day and then at night, without having to move all the contents of the purse.  They created a reversible purse called the Luvali.  Yes, this purse has an outer shell that is totally reversible.  These purses have 3 looks in total, so you will never need to switch purses again, just change the cover.  Isn’t this just the smartest idea ever?

Here’s what you do.  First you have to pick your style of hand bag, There is a small “chic” handbag, a medium “classic”, and a large “tote”.  Then the fun begins, you get to pick your fabrics.  There are 4 different patterns for each bag.  So if you buy one hand bag, you could have up to 8 different looks!  You can buy just the reversible covers as well so there is no need to purchase a new bag every time.  The bag can also be worn without a cover, so when you buy a bag and a cover you have 3 different looks.

I received the large Tote in brown from Luvali, with 2 great pink and brown patterns.  The one side in a flower pattern and the other is stripes.  I love all three of the looks, even without the cover this bag looks great.  I was interested to see how long it would take to convert the bag.  So, I timed myself, and it took just over 2 minutes to untie the ties, unzip the side zipper, flip the cover inside out and put it all back together.  I also took a picture in between that time.  I was so impressed by the simplicity, and effectiveness of the bag being reversible.  It was so easy.  It’s great for something to be reversible, but if it’s too much work you will not do it.  I can assure you, this is no work at all, you will be changing the look of your bag all the time.

The Luvali tote is a very generous size.  I use this as my purse and my diaper bag.  I have everything in there.  There are 2 sides to the purse, plus a zip up pocket in the middle, there is also a little zip up pocket on one side, a place for a cell phone, an open pocket along the side and a clip for an id pass or for your keys. There is ample space in this for everything that you will need.  There is also a little pocket in the front on both sides of the material.  I have all my diaper gear (and I cloth diaper, so it’s a little more bulky and more items to carry), all of my daughter’s baby food, a few toys, and then all my important items as well.  Some makeup, a wallet, my keys.  You name it, it’s one of those purses that I can say “Oh, I have that in my purse”.  And guess what, because I don’t have to change my purse, the items ARE actually in my purse.

I’ve been using this straight for over a month now, and it looks great, and feels great.  It fits under my stroller, or I can carry it over my shoulder (the straps are adjustable).  People have asked me many questions about my purse, and really admire the functionality of it.  I have yet to meet anyone that has seen or heard of such a versatile and smart purse. Not too sound too cliche but this purse is “lovely” (Luvali).  I am so impressed with it, whether for a trip to the mall or a dinner party at night, you can easily switch up your look in an instant.  

Luvali’s whole concept is to have things reversible.  They also carry a line for children.  Some of the children products include hats, and soon to come are reversible onesies and diaper bags. I think the hat is just such a great idea.
