About Us

My name is Lynette and I am married to my high school sweetheart. We’ve been together 14 years and married for 9. In 2008, we finally gave birth to a very special baby girl – we like to call her Princess Your Life is Never Going To Be The Same, and it’s true – our life has changed! We are now a family.

We just added to our family! Baby Girl Number 2 arrived in December 2012. We are thrilled to have 2 wonderful girls!

I’m a native Nova Scotian, born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada!

Out side of my blogging life, I have a regular day job, a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a major in International Business Management, and speak French, English and Spanish (I even studied in Mexico).

I am just a regular Mom running off my feet around bringing up an extremely busy 4 year old while nursing a baby old and having fun (mostly) while it’s all going on.

My Wee View has been online since November 2008. I enjoy the finer things in life, including chocolate, spas and travel.
