Doc McStuffins on DVD

Doc McStuffins

“Time for your Check up”

Last year Doc McStuffins opened up her stuffy clinic on Disney Junior and her client list has been building ever since!  If your kids can’t get enough of the Doc and her friends, they can watch her over and over again on DVD, it’s been in stores since Ma 7th.

The DVD includes the following episodes:

  •  Gulpy, Gulpy Gators! / One Note Wonder
  • Tea Party Tantrum / Blast Off!
  • Arcade Escapade / Starry, Starry Night
  • Bronto Boo-Boos / Brontosaurus Breath
  • Doctoring The Doc / Hot Pursuit

Doc McStuffins is a fav here at our house, I often catch my little doctor giving her own toys checkups!  While Doc McStuffins may be a girl, this show appeals to both boys and girls.  Over time every type of toy can break down, from ripped seams on a teddy bear to dead batteries, the Doc and her friends work together to put the toys back together.

What I love about Doc McStuffins?  It’s a great introduction to the doctors office and it depicts real worries that kids would have while they are in the Doctors office.  Lambie, Hallie and Chilly (The Doc’s friends) help the “sick” toys work through their fears – very similar to what kids could possibly be feeling while they are in the doctors office.

I try to keep a close eye on everything my little Toy Doctor watches, and I know that Doc McStuffins is a safe choice.  There has never been anything remotely scary that will give her nightmares and in fact I love that it actually teaches her…. it teaches her to problem solve.  Doc and her friends have to use their troubling shooting skills to try to fix the toys, if one thing doesn’t work, they come up with other ideas.  The toys that need fixing are also just like the toys my little Doc has at home, xylophones, rockets, giraffes, telescopes, and chances are some day they will need fixing, a ripped leg or a missing key.  Thanks to Doc McStuffins, my daughter will have  suggestions on how we can fix her broken toys.

Doc McStuffins – Time For Your Check up is 120 minutes of laughs, music and tender loving care from a special little doctor.

If your Little One can’t get enough of Doc McStuffins here are some pintables!

  1. I no longer have any stuffies, but my daughter’s favorite is her Minnie Mouse that her Auntie brought her back from Disney. It goes everywhere with her, especially to bed.

  2. I pretty much gave all my stuffy toys to the kids or donated them, but I held onto a little bean bag snoopy that my Dad got me when I was very little. Its put away and my kids are not allowed to touch him cause he’s mine lol

  3. My fave stuffed toy is a bear dressed in a sweater that has a big red heart in the center. It was given to my by my 2 little granddaughters (sisters) for Valentine’s Day. 🙂

  4. I don’t have one. But my little one has a stuffed rabbit that my mom gave her for easter and she doesn’t put it down.

  5. I have a bear (Beary – how original LOL) that I’ve had for years and years and years…… 🙂

  6. Our stuffed dog Digger who has been loved by children in this house. He’ll be passed down to next generation eventually. He can’t leave our family.

  7. I have this really old white, now turned grey, teddy bear that my brother gave me when I was little. My kids play with it now.

  8. My favourite is a teddy named Theodore. I’ve had him since I was 3. He has had a few surgeries too.

  9. I no longer have any. But those little blankets with doggie heads seem to be a hit these days.

  10. I still have my teddy bear from when I was little. lol My daughter has a teddy bear she loves and takes everywhere too.

  11. Bearison Ford! My Han Solo Build-a-Bear. One of my best friends got him for me when I was very ill and in the hospital. I share him with my son now.

  12. I love the teddy bear that my hubby bought me 9 years ago when we first started dating!
