Spring is coming, I promise. It shows up every year. I’ve seen it happen 32 years in a row and I don’t think this is the year I will be disappointed. I love Spring, it means great things are just around the corner, my favourite season – summer! Bring on the heat, bring on the dresses, flip flops and tees. I actually love summer and the warmer weather so much we spend a lot of the colder season down south. (Like a month in Florida, and then a week in Cuba). The winter isn’t as hard to bare when a good portion of it is spent in the sun.
Shorts, capris, dresses and skirts, I love wearing them but it also means shaving my legs regularly. I haven’t made the plunge to get my legs lasered but I am seriously thinking about it. In the meantime, I’m stuck with a blade to get smooth silky legs – wait … those are the legs I want to have! I have hairless crocodile legs. My skin is so dry, I should be using moisturiser 3 times a day. But who has time for that? Not me, so I’m left looking like croc.
A few years ago (before blogging I think) I tried out a brand spanking new product by Schick, the Intuition. I loved the razor soap/moisturiser combo so much I bought the Costco sized packages. When Schick asked me if I wanted to test out the new version of the intuition.
The new Intuition has more give (swivel) which allows the razor to glide over my legs and knees very easily. It literally takes about a minute to do an entire leg. With no gel to mess around with, it’s simple to just dunk your leg under water and start shaving or use it in the shower. Have you ever tried shaving in the shower with gel? It’s not an easy task. The Intuition razor is encircled by a bar of moisturising soap and so it’s easy to use in the shower.
I’m not sure if there is anything that will really help my croc legs other than dousing it in cream, and I can’t say for sure if the new Intuition made my legs less croc like, but they smell better than a swamp – that’s for sure! The coconut scent is very subtle but nice.
I love these razors for their pure simpleness! No one likes shaving, but with the Intuition it’s a little less painful.
The starter kit comes with 2 razors and a little suction cup holder.
I have 25 razors to giveaway to my readers. The First 25 Canadian Readers that complete this Form will be sent a Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment razor to test out. Of those 25 testers, if you send me a review of the Intuition you will also have a chance to win a $50 Gift Card.
