How have you acquired most of your children’s clothing? Hand me downs? Gifts? Second hand shops? No Matter how you get their clothing, one thing that is guaranteed, is that our children’s clothing is put through the wringer… and I know we all know that some last longer and are better quality than others.
OshKosh & Carters are two quality made kids clothing companies and they are now available at Sears. We love Carters and already have much of their clothing in our home. We especially love the footed jammies, Princess Sleepover even has some footed jammies in size 5 & 6 in the Carter’s brand – they are her F-A-V-O-U-R-I-T-E! We received a marvellous package from Sears with clothing for both the kids. Check out this skirt for the baby… what’s cuter than a small baby? Why… a small baby in a skirt of course! (Adorable, right?!? .. I sure think so).
(In case you can’t read the print on her shirt, it says ” So Pretty (just like my Mom)”
On top of the wonderful addition of OshKosh & Carters clothing to the Sears line, I also want to emphasize the incredible clothing guarentee at Sears. Keep your receipts and any clothing that doesn’t outlast all the kids in your house will be exchanged for new clothes. That’s right, even hand me downs to younger siblings. If you have the receipts, Sears will exchange them if the kids have trashed them (we need to find a place that will do the same with baseboards & appliances).
This week, there are a few events surrounding the launch of this new partnership, Family Day and a “chill” event to bring awareness to child cancers. On Sunday, February 17th The Great Canadian Chill event (Read: Polar Bear Dip), will be right in the center of the City at Yonge-Dundas square, with pools and hot tubs – how fun is that? Check out The Chill for more info. On Monday, February 18th there will be a Family Day event with fun activities, treats, children’s authors and more from 10am – 2pm.
Check out the Sears Facebook Page for the February 15th launch and also a special Carters & OshKosh giveaway.

Not yet. I think they are too young to be hard on them still but they do ruin them with paint and food.
for sure, their kids, wouldn’t have it any other way
Absolutely! But I don’t stress about it! They grow out of them so quickly anyways!
for sure!!! what kids are not hard on them!
Sure are, with all the new things they are learning to do.
yes especially with stains
They certainly were when they were younger
Aren’t kids always hard on clothes, ha ha!!!
Oh yes! They put the knees out of pants so quick
Our daughter just turned 5, and she seems to be getting worse as she gets older lol. There seem to be a lot less ‘hand me downs’ when she’s done with her clothes lately, as they are either ripped or stained, or both! I think our son was the worst though….knocked the knees out of everything lol!
I think all kids are hard on their clothing! I think for the most part though, parents are even more hard on their clothing, with constant washing, drying, washing, drying. Sometimes it is easier to toss it in the laundry that it is to set aside it to re-wear.
They crawl on their knees until they wear holes in them and then some of those stain are WHat???…hey can be something I fed them.!!
If they aren’t hard on their clothes then they aren’t getting down and busy!
Yes, but Carters and OshKosh clothes really last!
No, my son is really good with his clothes.
Yes but depending on the quality of the clothes some can take it and some can’t Carters and OshKosh have always been a reliable brand.
This is awesome! My daughter could use new clothes!
My oldest is really hard on his clothes. Holes are always forming on the knees of his jeans and so many of his shirt are stained that I don’t even know how he does it sometimes.
i find now that my son is older and doesn’t grow out of clothes as fast we have worn through a few pairs of jeans. But neither of my kids is hard on clothes
My oldest is very hard on her clothing
My daughter is just under a year, so not yet.
Nothing out of the ordinary
Not too hard on them.
My daughter is not too hard on clothes, but my little one is just 2 months old and I’m going to guess he will be harder on his clothes.
Yes, definitely hard on clothes
My toddler plays hard! My 6 month old, not so much.
Yes! She’s dug her toes into her sleepers her whole life with the goal of poking out the big toe every single time
Not yet! haha
My kids are so bad with spilling food on themselves!
Not much, but footwear is a real problem though.
not too hard
I love these brands they are well made.
Yes, my kids are very hard on their clothes … lots of rips and tears especially near the knees.
Occasionally!
My son’s not too hard on his clothes yet… but he’s only 7 months old. GIve him time and I’m sure he will be!
pretty decent – just a lot of spills and stains
not really, unless they play outside a lot
yup, they can be hard on them
My son is really hard on his clothing.
Not too bad with them overall!
No my son is good with his clothing
Not too hard, but by the time the clothes have gone through both boys, I’m sure they’ll be pretty worn.
My daughter is on the go ALL day. She totally destroys her clothes. We let her make all the messes she wants (in her play room). Washable paints and markers aren’t really that washable, and ALL food stains! lol
Our 3rd daughter rarely gets anything new! She doesn’t seem to mind yet though!
Not really they mostly still look new.
My son is not too hard on clothes
Not yet – I am sure she will be hard on clothes when she’s older
Both my boys are brutal on their clothes, and/or they are growing so fast we need to buy more
suprisingly not
This is our first so everyone kindly gave us there second hand baby clothes! Just having to wash over and over makes them wear quickly!!! Especially if you have to scrub out stains!
They are not too hard on their clothing
Not yet… but he will be!
I think all kids are hard on their clothes.
My boys are!!!
not really, its just hard to keep the white things looking nice – the bibs, under shirts etc. that get lots of food stains
Kids are always hard on clothes and everything else. Normal.
yes. totally hard on clothes!!
yes, especially the knees and sleeves
Yes, the knees are the worst!
Yes! My 11month old is wearing holes in the knees of her pants from being on the go all the time (crawling) but the tile floor doesn’t help either :s My 2 yr old is a typical rough housing boy too always on the go, thank goodness kid number 2 was a girl, his clothes wouldn’t be able to be passed down!
My children are very hard on their clothes!
They are actually pretty good – both the boys and the girls!
Pretty good!
My son isn’t too hard on his clothes now that he’s a bit older.
my son rips holes in the knees all the time
