This past holiday season, The Odd Life of Timothy Green was released on Blu-Ray and DVD. If you haven’t yet had a chance to see the film, it’s one that you and your family will not want to miss.
The Odd Life Of Timothy Green really hit home for me. A young couple struggling to have a child, and after years of being unsuccessful, they had finally put to rest the idea of ever becoming parents. Then the unthinkable happens (and well, in all reality, something not possible at all, but it’s a heart-warming story), the couple have a miracle child.
As you can imagine, being in that situation for 4 years myself, the story was very close to my heart. I lived through the heartache and joy with the main characters, shedding tears of sadness and joy. My husband watched the film with me and at first he was disinterested, perhaps it starts off a little too slow for an action packed man. But eventually he was tuned in and he said he liked the movie as well (just don’t tell his friends).
The Odd Life Of Timothy Green is a very sweet movie that the family will enjoy. It’s probably a little too advanced for Princess 4 Year Old, but when she is older this is a movie that I can see all of us watching together without feeling embarassed, worried about the language, the violence or inappropriate behaviour – there is none of that. It’s a good wholesome movie that you can watch with grandma and not blush or feel uncomfortable.

yes, i know several people who had a difficult time either becoming pregnant or having multiple miscarriages after becoming pregnant. Luckily, I never had that issue myself.
I worked with a woman who had fertility issues. She had attempted IVF numerous times and suffered through multiple miscarriages. She didn’t talk about it a lot, but I knew she always had that sadness.
I never did make it to the theatre to see this one! Id love a copy of the movie.

A family member of ours could not have children. She tried absolutely everything without success. All of a sudden, she got pregnant and couldn’t stop getting pregnant. 4 children later, she got fixed lol.

Yes my mother. she had to have 3 c-sections.
My sister tried for like 5 years to have a kid but no such luck. She wnet to a doctor and they said she would never be able to have children. Well in the last 2 years she had a boy whos now 2 and just recently a little girl that’s about a month now.
My friend and her husband tried for 6 years with no luck, then miraculously she had a girl then 1 1/2 years later a boy!
I do know now someone who is currently having a hard time.
