We just booked our southern vacation, and it includes a week in Orlando! We’re really excited to visit Disney of course. I was invited to the grand opening of Fantasyland last month, but was birthing a child so therefore I had to pass up the amazing opportunity. Our family will be able to experience the new part of the park in February and I’ll share my thoughts with all of you. Being a Disney Junior Mom, I have a strong internal connection to all things Disney!
This month Disney Junior has a few treats for you (make sure to set up your DVR’s, cause there’s a few things you’re not going to want to miss.
- January 19th at 5:45pm EST – Premiere of Cinderella on Disney Junior! We really love this movie in our home, it’s a timeless classic film and every girls dream to be swooped up by a prince. I always dreamed of Prince William secretly finding me, I perhaps should have at least took a visit across the pond if I was serious about an encounter.
- January 19th at 7pm EST – Series premiere of Sofia the First.
- January 27th at 10:15am EST – Cinderella II Dreams Come True.
- January 27th at 11:30am EST – New Episode of Sofia the First.

I need to remember to set the PVR! Cinderella is my daughter’s favourite. We’re going to Disney World (and on Disney Cruise) in October and I am already starting to research the heck out of it. It’s probably different for you being on a Disney sponsored trip, but I am going to probably pick your brain with a billion questions when you get back.
please feel free to contact me as well if you want kimkorte (at) yahoo (.)ca
I’ll be wiring about my experience not to worry ladies!
It’s not going to be sponsored this time around… I couldn’t go to the sponsored trip cause I was having a baby
Sorry!!
But it means your opinions will be truer *grin*
We took our family to DisneyWorld and had such an amazing time with our four granddaughters. We stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside and we loved it. It is in the middle of DisneyWorld and not in one of the theme parks but the buses were great, the rooms were clean and roomy and and the children loved the “fireworks headboards”. It was in one of the princess rooms so there was just a touch of magic without being overwhelming for the adults. Staff was amazing everyone you passed had a huge smile and a kind word for the children. One of our granddaughters had her birthday while we were there and the maid made all the towels into huge birthday candles for her and left them on her bed along with a letter from Princess Tiana, she was totally thrilled.
Can’t wait my kids loved watching Sofia the first! Disney junior is our favorite channel in our house!
