Secret of the Wings on DVD & Blu-Ray

by Mommy on October 16, 2012

Any Tinker Bell fans out there?  I thought so! She’s taken on a world of her own, and on October 23rd, the latest DVD & Blu-Ray Secret of the Wings will be flying onto store shelves.

Here’s a Synopsis:

Journey with Tinker Bell and her fairy friends into the forbidden world of the mysterious Winter Woods, where curiosity and adventure lead Tink to an amazing discovery and reveal a magical secret that could change her world forever.

Princess Active generally finds it hard to sit and watch a new movie from start to finish without being jittery, but not this time… it was silence the entire movie.  Well, minus one exception, at one point she said “What’s going to happen Mama?”, and I said “You have to watch an see.”  Needless to say, she loved the movie, and so do I.

There are a few things I love about the movie –  first and foremost … it’s not scary.  There are no monsters and nothing that will give kids nightmares.  I’m really sensitive to scariness, and so far the Tinker Bell movies have been scary free!   I also love the story of sisters.  I do not have a sister, and have always wanted one.  After seeing this movie I want one even more, but I think at this point, that’s impossible!  Thankfully, I will be able to experience sisters by raising two of my own!  This movie makes me even more excited for Princess #2 to arrive.

Overall, a great movie, even though I despise winter, Disney has really captured the “nicer” more beautiful sides.  It almost makes me think winter can be enjoyable.
