Tomorrow is the first day of Pre-school for Princess I’m Really afraid of Anything. She can jump off the deep end of the pool without a life jacket, she can feed wildlife, she can ride her balance bike down a hill with her feet up. She truly isn’t afraid of anything.
But, I do think she’s afraid to start pre-school tomorrow… As a Mom with a child that isn’t afraid, this is new territory for me.

Eeek! I’ll bet you’re feeling a little nervous too; it’s such a big day! My youngest will be heading off too and even having been through it before, I’m a little scared!
I really am. She’s already been up 3 times. It’s just so odd, cause she’s not afraid of anything…. and I don’t want 18 years of “I don’t want to go to school”
I bet she comes home smiling and not so afraid anymore. I hope it goes well!
I hope so, I hope she will come home and want to go back the next day… but she’ll have to wait till Friday

I think so, she was saying “It’s a big day tomorrow”. Perhaps we have made too much of a big deal? We tried a play school in April and it did not go over well at all… this time we brought her to the school to meet her teacher and classroom a few times to try to prepare her.
Such a sweetie!! She’ll do awesome!

As we were telling our daughter, she’s not really afraid, she’s nervous! And being nervous just means that something exciting is about to happen.

Good luck, I have on starting JK this year too! He gets scared at the dentist and doctor so not sure how this is going to go!

there was some crying, but no phone call home… so that’s good!
She’ll do awesome!! Especially after the first day…she’ll be begging to go back

We have a while to go before preschool but I remember how I felt the first day I sent her to daycare…….

Kindergarten was scary for me as a child. I was so shy. Really painfully shy.
We start next year, but I’m a bit worried already. My only calming thought is “nobody died from that yet” and “it’s just a kindergarten anyway, so a good preparation…”, right…? Lol
