Matilda Jane – $75 GC

How is the school year coming along?  Kids settled in? Are you back into the daily routine of running around from place to place to place?  Ah… how quickly we get back into the craziness of September.  My little one just started pre-school this year.  What a great accomplishment that is.  There were a few days of crying, but after making a friend, she loves going 3 days a week.

Princess Fancy Dresser may be only be 4, but she already has a wardrobe that she chooses to wear and when it comes to school, she wants to wear the best.  We recently received a beautiful dress from Matilda Jane that she would wear each and every day at school if she could.  Not only does she love it, but everyone else does too.  It’s elegant, girly, and very unique – just like Princess Special.

It’s surprising that this white, blue and maroon combo makes heads turns and Mom’s oohhh and ahhhh.  We recently went to a birthday party, and of course, Princess Dress Up had to wear her fancy Matilda Jane dress.  Every single mom at the party completed on how Beautiful her dress was and where she got it from.   She must feel like a million bucks in that dress, cause she has more confidence than a peacock! As long as her navel is covered and she has a pair of shorts on underneath, I’m ok with it.

Although Princess Growing Like a Weed is only a size 4, I went with a size 6 for this dress.  She’s a pretty tall “little” girl and this dress is already above the knees.  In just a few short months this has happened, it’s sad to see my small girl growing up so quickly.  So, I’d suggest going up a size or 2 to make sure your kids special outfits are going to fit.

Overall, we all love this dress, it’s super adorable, and while most girly outfits are pink this one is a great way to mix up the typical girly wardrobe.  It’s a hit.
