Disney Junior – New show & Contest

by Mommy on September 13, 2012

All right Disney Junior fans, get ready  -there’s a new show starting called Justin Time!  Believe it or not Princess French has been enjoying Justin Time for a long time.  If you read my site regularly (I know you do), I’ve written before about my daughters obsession with the Disney Junior website in French. She will only play the games and all the other activities in French.  As it turns out Justin Time has been on the French side of DJ for quite some time.  It goes without saying when the “new” series started, in English it was like a revelation for my daughter, a game she already loved was now on her TV screen!! Ta-da… when you’re 4, this is a big deal.

The Episodes start September 16th at 8:30 am and the kids are going to – LOVE IT!  It’s a Canadian original series and actually with one of the books we received from Disney Junior, there is plenty of Canadian content – Moose, Beavers and Maple Syrup!  I’m all about teaching kids about Canada, and it’s even better to start them off really young and in a way they enjoy – their favourite cartoon characters!

On Monday, September 17th the Cinderella Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo Contest contest is starting!  Sounds fabulous just by the title, so let me give you a bit of an insider so you can see for yourself.

  • “The Grand Prize includes a special private screening of Disney’s Cinderella for you and 20 guests along with a Royal Prize Pack including a Cinderella’s Transforming Pumpkin Carriage, Disney Luggage, Lip Smackers, Greeting Cards, CDs and much more!”
  • “You could also win 1 of 5 fabulous Princess Prize Packs! For full prizing details, and to  enter once per day, visit www.disneyjunior.ca/en/contests/cinderella/ . Make sure to do so before midnight October 13th when the clock strikes for Cinderella.”

And of course, we can’t forget the kids favoruite show – Jake & the Neverland Pirates!  The week of September 17th is Pirate week each day at 5:10 pm EST Jake and his friends will be sailing the high seas and on Friday, there’s a new 45 minute episode for your little privateers!
