Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3, Viva La Fiesta!

by Mommy on September 18, 2012

Anyone ready for a party?  I’m always up for a good time!  Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3, Viva La Fiesta is being released today on Blu-Ray and DVD.

Here’s a Synopsis:

Everyone’s favorite talking Chihuahuas Papi (voice of George Lopez) and Chloe (voice of Odette Annable) are back, joined by their five playful pups in an all-new family comedy. It’s canine chaos as Papi’s family (dog and human) move into the posh Langham Hotel, complete with a luxurious doggy spa. But there’s trouble in puppy paradise when Rosa, the littlest member of the pack, feels smaller and less special than ever. Now it’s up to Papi to help Rosa find – and celebrate – her inner strength, which turns out to be bigger than she ever dreamed and reminds humans and canines alike of the importance of family, friends and teamwork.

Princess Party Animal and I sat down together to watch this movie this evening.  I’ve had the opportunity to review the Beverly Hills Chihuahua moives in the past, but always passed it up, because I didn’t think Princess was ready for the series just yet.  I thought now that she is 4, and a “big girl”, it would be the right time to introduce her this adorable talking dogs.  We were able to sit together for about 20 minutes before Princess I Can’t Sit Any Longer wanted to head outside to play.

So, tonight wasn’t a successful, but we will try once again.  I am actually finding that she likes a movie more once she has already seen it.  It’s not too often we have been able to sit and watch a movie together when it’s brand new.   I’ve heard this about kids before and am now experiencing it for myself.  I’ve actually heard of some TV shows playing the same episode for a week at a time because kids like the predictability.

Sorry to say, we don’t have too much of a review from a 4 year olds eyes at that point.  Other than – I don’t want to sit and watch this movie!
