Wordless Wednesday: Garage (w. Linky)

by Mommy on July 3, 2012

We are settled in our new home and absolutely LOVE IT!  We particularly loved this home because it had a garage.  And here is what we are using it for…. Le Sigh….

lol – that is what the garage is ALWAYS used for when you first move in… don’t worry, it won’t stay that way I’m sure :)

I hope not Tara. I have dreams of getting into my car in the winter without having to shovel it off.

I’m so glad you are loving your new home! Thanks for the linky Lynette :)

Mommy July 3, 2012 at 8:25 pm

Oh the joys of moving. I swear there’s still boxes untouched from 5 years ago. Good luck!!

Oh no!! Say it ain’t so…. I guess if you haven’t gone through them yet… they can’t be overly important!

So happy you are loving your new home. Don’t worry about those boxes, you just got there and you are pregnant.

Thanks for the reminder. Sometimes we put too much pressure on ourselves :)

Congrats on your new home! I wish my hubby would let me use the garage for storage!

Hey, that’s what we use our garage for too!

I’m so glad I’m not alone!

I totally detest moving. I’ve moved cross country a few times now and I’m staying put. Good luck getting the house set up! I love looking at new houses with ‘new’ eyes!

Looks like my garage a few weeks ago we’ve been here 4 years and just got it cleaned up. Good luck!

Monica July 3, 2012 at 11:15 pm

…isn’t that what a garage is for??

Jennifer July 3, 2012 at 11:17 pm

lol that’s always the way! lol

Christine July 3, 2012 at 11:22 pm

I’m with Tara!! That’s what the garage is always used for when you first move into new home! Sadly, ours is still in that state. I will not tell you how long it’s been that way. LOL! Enjoy your new home and garage, lovely! You just moved in and your preggers! That’s what the garage is for :) xoxox

HA! Ours looked like that too at our old house!

Robin July 4, 2012 at 7:33 am

We’ve never seen our garage empty. The previous owners were garage hoarders. Seriously! When we viewed the home, they had moved all their personal belongings except for the major furniture (for staging I suppose) and the garage.was.stuffed.full. There was barely a walking path from the house to the garage bay doors. Our closing lasted longer than expected, so when we arrived to our new home, the movers had beat us to the punch (we had a friend there waiting too) and they had already begun unloading everything into the garage. So, we’ve never had the pleasure of seeing it without a lot of stuff in it LOL. Don’t worry, you’ll get there — one box at a time.

Get to work! :P

Oh dear! At least it’s not your new living room that looks like that ;)

Crystal July 4, 2012 at 10:41 am

Our garage looked like that too when we moved. It is still not all sifted through 6 years later unfortunately

Kathryn July 4, 2012 at 10:42 am

Bwa ha! We have an unfinished garage on our house and while I daydream about the day it will be done and my hubby will have all his tools carefully organized in there, I’ll bet it’ll end up looking just like this! LOL

Shash July 4, 2012 at 11:16 am

hahahaha that’s what our garage looks like… almost 7 years after moving in!!! I know you’ll have it all whipped into shape in no time. :)

alissa apel July 5, 2012 at 12:03 am

Our garage is used for my husband’s sculpture work. Sigh!

Nolie July 5, 2012 at 12:58 am

Looks like a Canadian garage. All it’s missing is the car out front under 10 feet of snow.

Paula Schuck July 5, 2012 at 11:06 pm

And that is exactly what our garage looks like 13 years later.
