Energizer Free Their Imagination – PIN: Create

With a 3 year old at home, I know what sort of imagination kids are capable of having.  I recently announced my pregnancy to Princess  Wild Imagination.  At first, she was set on having a baby sister, no questions asked.  However after weeks of letting her know the baby may be a boy, she has finally accepted the fact that she may not have a baby sister at all.  In fact, we had a little conversation that went something like this:

Princess Wild Imagination: “Mommy, you have a baby in your tummy, it might be a baby girl, and it might be a baby boy or it might be a baby kitty”.

I’ll have a lot of explaining to do if it’s a baby kitty.

Either way, it’s just an example of how imaginative kids can actually be.  I could write a book about some of the creative things she does and says each day.

As I’ve grown up, my creativity seems to have left me, not that I could ever really draw or come up with amazing ideas, but once upon a time I did have some brilliant moments!  I find when I get right into it with my daughter, with scissors, glue, paint, stickers and sparkles, together we can make some creative masterpieces and have lots of fun doing it together, which is what counts the most.   Right now, we are all about making “Love Cards”.
