Wordless Wednesday: Give a Kid a Camera (Linky)

by Mommy on May 15, 2012

Have you ever gone through photos after your little one has been snapping photos?

This photo has really caught my eye for 2 reasons.

  1. It actually is a very neat perspective of a knife
  2. How did Princess Sneaky Pants get so close to a knife to snap a picture such as this one?

If you have a Wordless Wednesday, please link it up below and make a comment.

Mommy May 15, 2012 at 9:11 pm

they see things in such a different way than we do :) Love their perspective.

love it :) I’ve found the most fascinating pictures that my kids have taken over the years lol!

Mommy May 15, 2012 at 9:11 pm

It can be a surprise when you go over the pics afterwards.

My son loves to steal my camera and take pictures, so much so that I bought him his own. I love his pictures and his cute little kid perspective.

Mommy May 15, 2012 at 9:12 pm

we bought Princess photographer her own camera too :) It’s not the best quality, but it gets the job done and is indestructible.

This is pretty cool, much more impressive than the shots of Barbie’s face I find

Mommy May 15, 2012 at 8:43 pm

or some of the ones of only part of my face…. I didn’t upload those ones on purpose :)

My girl takes random photos too. I have fun going through my camera roll and discovering pix from her perspective haha

My kids are dying for cameras of their own. DS2 is currently obsessed with both my camera and my phone. I fear where this may lead.

Mommy May 16, 2012 at 8:20 pm

It could lead to a photographer :)

Very neat! When my son gets ahold of the camera, the pictures all tend to be close-ups of his favourite Hot Wheels cars! lol

Mommy May 16, 2012 at 8:20 pm

NICE! He’s got an eye for fancy cars I guess :)

Can’t wait to give my daughter a camera…very interesting shot, she’s obviously very perceptive, and smart to take a picture of the knife rather than to pick it up ; )

Mommy May 16, 2012 at 8:21 pm

It’s almost like she was telling me something… I was close to this knife Mommy… here’s a picture to prove it.

My kids don’t ask to take pictures too often yet. We’ll see what the future has in it.

Mommy May 16, 2012 at 8:22 pm

Perhaps she is going to be a professional photographer when she grows up?

Mommy May 16, 2012 at 8:22 pm

:) Perhaps a famous one one for National Geographic

How funny! My daughter sneaks photos with our iPhones all the time! What a good idea to post the interesting ones…. I may have to follow up on this idea!

Mommy May 16, 2012 at 8:23 pm

:) Share their creativity!

Aly May 16, 2012 at 8:18 pm

My friend has a sibling who loves to take pictures!

Paulette May 17, 2012 at 9:13 am

Every time the kids get a hold of my ph I find random pics. Mostly of things I do not recognize.

Severinus May 17, 2012 at 11:48 pm

This is very artistic approach to a knife :)

M Turner May 20, 2012 at 8:43 pm

It can be pretty amazing the alternate ways that a child observes things. My son loves taking photos and I actually purchased him a camera of his own a couple of years ago and he has taken some amazing pictures. There are a few in particular that I love. He took them while our neighbor was moving his cattle from one field to another. One of them has only the cows legs and he caught it in mid-step. It looks amazing like that. Another he somehow caught 12 of the cows in a pic that was only of their heads. I still have no idea how he did that…

i have always let my daughter take pictures … now she is 16 and loves photography. it is such a great hobby, gets her outdoors, walking around, gets her artistic juices flowing, and the outcome is awesome, she has some great shots ! just breathtaking
