This is one of the first times I did not sit with DD to watch a new movie with her. I actually just put the movie on, and started to make dinner – Thankfully she was drawn to her favorite Latina friend and watched intently as I was able to make dinner with no little fingers close to the stove. It was marvelous.
The movie was obviously a hit, I could hear her in the background answering questing and up on her feet while she helped Dora and Boots through the forest with their new friend Unicornio. The movie was so intriguing, it continued to play in the background while we were eating supper… with the TV turned towards the table, all 3 of us were able to enjoy a quite dinner. (I know, I know – don’t judge, sometimes you just need those quite days). So, if you ask my 3 year old, Dora’s Enchanted Forest is very entertaining!
