Cute as a Bug Boutique – $50 Gift Certificate – CLOSED

Now that summer is on the way, it means that DD can once again wear cute dresses. Alright, I did try to get her into some sweater dresses during the winter, but there is nothing quite as nice as the beautiful flowy dresses that little girls can wear in the warmer months.

DD is a tom boy, but she does still enjoy dressing up – an odd combo, I know, but there is something that I love about a busy little girl in a beautiful dress. The latest outfit that we had the opportunity to review is from Cute as a Bug Boutique. This is an adorable online store in Calgary, Alberta that has all things girly (and has just recently started to add some wonderful things for boys too).

For review we received the Biscotti Chocolate Cupcake Dress and Sweater Set in Size 4T. This pink and brown dress complete with a matching shrug is absolutely stunning. There are plenty of textures, fluff and style. The dress is one piece and has crinoline under the bottom to give the skirt a bit of pouff (but not too much). There is also a few little flowers on the skirt with a matching flower on the shrug. The dress also has a tie in the back so you can get just the right fit on your child.

DD wore this dress to Easter Mass (and more recently at my cousins graduation). IT.WAS.ADORABLE! She has so many wonderful compliments, it’s just too bad that her cute dress didn’t also make it’s way over to her personality (my husband had to leave early from church, in her defense, it was an extra long church).

I am so pleased with our beautiful dress from Cute as a Bug boutique. It is a touch on the larger size so I know that we will be able to get plenty of use for at least a year to come.
