Attending the International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago with Hoover was an amazing experience. (I have never seen so many small appliance companies all under one roof). It was also a pleasure to meet with executives from Hoover to see first hand the plans that Hoover has for new products throughout the year.
As a Hoover Insider, I’ll be getting the latest scoop on the products and will be bringing them to you, and believe me there are some really nice ones that you guys are sure to appreciate – whether you like canisters, uprights, steam cleaning or handheld mini vacs – Hoover will have something for you.
Without giving too much away, I wanted to share some of the newest products and features that I was really impressed with. The first is the WindTunnel Air:

The WindTunnel Air vacuum can lay straight on the floor and should be able to go under beds and couches – can I get an AMEN? I like uprights way more than dragging around canisters, but the one benefit canisters have over uprights is the long handle can easily go under anything. It’s not too often that I get excited over cleaning products, but I do have to admit that I was very pleased with this feature.

Another important feature that many of the new Hoover vacuums have is a retractable cord. This maybe a small and simple feature, but it’s a very important one and rarely found in a upright vacuum. After completing the the undaunted task of vacuuming you then have to spend another 2 minutes wrapping the cord up just right (do people actually do this?!?)- well not anymore, the cord automatically and magically makes it’s way perfectly into the vacuum ready to go for next time (un-knotted and not a tripping hazard). Like I said, this simple feature is something that is very important to a Mom like me that isn’t fussy about cleaning in the first place.
Over the next year, you will be hearing a lot about Hoover and their products. I am looking forward to testing them out and letting you all know my cleaning experiences – I’m sure my husband and mother are looking forward to it too!
**Disclaimer: Hoover paid for my travel and accomidations while attending the International Home and Housewares show in Chicago. They will also be sending me a number of review products throughout the year as a Hoover Insider. The product features expressed in this post are those of My Wee View and have not been influenced in any other way. Please see the full Terms of use.

I just bought an inexpensive Hoover and it works better than my $300 one ever did! I can’t wait to see the new products.
How exciting! I can’t wait to hear about some Hoover products!
So I may rethink my next vacuum purchase
Thanx!!
Two very simple features that make life *simpler*. That’s what the industrial revolution was supposed to do.
I’m pleased to hear this WindTunnel Air will help in that regard. The design looks like something from the Jetsons! So I’m sure it does more stuff too, since you said ‘without giving everything away’.
cool. I may reconsider! :]
I wish I could afford a Hoover!!!
Actually, they are very affordable!
Take a peek you will be surprised!
I am interested about the WindTunnel Air vacuum and how it can lay straight on the floor to go under beds and couches. Very cool! Here’s your Amen!
Sounds great! I’ve been thinking of getting a new vacuum. I’ll have to keep the Hoover WindTunnel Air in mind.
