I love trying to be organized. I say “trying” because I’m not overly organized, but I really try hard to be. Labels are a great way to be organized. Last year, I attended Blissdom, and while I was there, I met the lovely Lovable Labels ladies. I spent a lot of time speaking with Gazalle, one of the reps. It’s so nice to really get to know the people behind products, it gives a completely different feeling than speaking with someone over the internet. Yes, there ARE REAL people behind the computer screen, and most of them are very friendly.
When Gazalle approached me to review Lovable Labels, I was more than happy to put them to the test. For review, I requested the Be Girly Mega Pack with the lady bug pattern. When the package arrived, I was surprised that the labels were not all the same colour, some labels are pink and some are purple. When you visit the site and look at the webpage with the value pack, each one of the coloured labels are the ones that I received – imagine that?!? So, I’m not sure where the surprise came from, I got EXACTLY what I asked for.
Included in the package is:
•15 Regular Sticker Labels
•40 Slimline Sticker Labels
•72 Press n’Stick Clothing DOTS
•12 Shoe Labels
•2 Mini-Metal Tags (two 4” silver ball chains incld)
•12 Square Labels
and there are 45 different icon choices.
I was most anxious to test out the labels in the dishwasher. The temperature in there gets so hot that I imagine if the labels can hold up in there, they can hold up anywhere. I put the slim label on DD’s Thermos sippy cup. This cup gets used and abused. It is in the washer and sink more than any other cup we have in the house. So far, the label still looks brand new after many, many washes (see left <—- many, many, many washes after). The sides are not wearing out and it still looks in perfectly brand new condition – very surprising and very impressive.
There are plenty of labels in this Mega pack, however, I do wish that there were more shoe ones. DD isn’t in school yet, but I can imagine that it would be quite easy to go through 12 shoe labels once they reach school age. My suggestion would be to get an extra pack of shoe labels specifically for this reason.
I also received a package of Think Pink labels for myself. I have a very close friend that had Breast Cancer, so I really love all the Think Pink products that support this cause. I received 40 labels with my name on them and will use them around the office and at home. Currently I use a label maker to mark my territory, which is very boring and very “un-me”, so I am really looking forward to using my new labels. The best part is that 50 cents from each sale goes towards Breast Cancer. I have purchased many of these types of items in the past, not only are the Breast Cancer Awareness items pink and very chic, a portion of the sale is always donated back.
I’m very pleased with the package I received from Lovable Labels, there are plenty of sizes in the Mega Pack that should fit nearly everything that you would like to claim for your child (or yourself). I’m going to label my work cell phone and camera, just in case. I would hate to lose them and they will look really good with the pink labels (they will match my pink tools).
