BlueWater Seafood (5 winners) – CLOSED

Along with the traditional Turkey Dinner and all the fixin’s, my family also divulges heavily into the seafood.  Lobster, scallops, chowders, you name it, if it comes from the sea, my family will eat an abundances of it – especially at Christmas time.

I know that not all Canadians have the luxury of going to the wharf to pick up fresh fish straight off the boat.  I am lucky enough to be from Nova Scotia and have some fishermen in the family, but I still do catch myself picking up packaged fish from the grocery store.

Unfortunately, fishing season is only open specific times of the year, so it’s not possible to always have fresh fish, so BlueWater Seafood is a brand that my family purchases and can enjoy year round.  Fish is very nutritional and when it’s battered you can even get the kids to enjoy it!

This season if you would like to throw in some yummy seafood into your Christmas feast, check out BlueWater, they have yummy appetizers like  Popcorn Shrimp, Butterfly Shrimp temptations and Shrimp with garlic – yummy;  or you can go  for a meal of haddock or salmon with garlic or herbs.

I am looking forward to my fill of Christmas Seafood and will be enjoying the succulent tastes of BlueWater Seafood and lobsters straight from the sea.

  3. Mmmm…I love their products. The Garlic & Herb Shrimp Temptations are
making me hungry just thinking about them.

  4. I looove their garlic and herb fillets, and the parmesan ones too! We usually have a shrimp ring or two this time of year…nothing fancy.

  10. I love seafood and I think there will definitely be some shrimp around during the holidays. The Garlic & Herb Shrimp Temptations look tasty. Thanks for the chance to win.

  11. Garlic Butter Grill Salmon looks good to me. I’ve been on a Salmon kick. We have shrimp for Christmas Eve dinner along with three different kinds of soup, cheese and crackers.

  12. The popcorn shrimp sounds good, ive never tried it but looks and sounds delicious! And yes we will most likely have seafood 🙂

  13. The Garlic and Herb shrimp would be my top pick! We usually have our seafood Christmas Eve, though smoked oysters and shrimp rings are an essential part of Christmas dinner. My husband is from the lower north shore in Quebec, so as a child he had TONS of seafood at Christmas! Here in landlocked Saskatchewan, though, we’re limited in our selection. We’re all obsessed with seafood in my family, though, so we indulge as much as we can! 🙂

  14. Creamy Shrimp and Broccoli looks yummy!! And we always have seafoods
during Christmas Time. We’re gonna have lobster and shrimps at Christmas 🙂

  15. I usually try to serve fish at least once a week, and the seasoned fille
ts are our favourites, with lemon herb and Parmesan being the best.

As my sons b/day is New Years Eve, we have family and friends over, and a shrimp ring (or two:)) is always a favourite!

  16. The garlic & herb seasoned fillets sounds good. We may have some shrimp over the holidays.

  17. Beer Batter Fillets is the one i would like to try…Yes we have seafood at Christmas with my Chinese in laws, usually shrimp and scallops no turkey on that side of the family

  18. I would like the “garlic butter grill fillets”…WE dont normally have seafood at christmas, but we do like it. karasceviour at hotmail dot com

  19. The Multigrain Tilapia Fillets look yummy. We aren’t against having seafood at Christmas, just not usually on our Christmas dinner menu.

  20. I would like to try the Multi-grain tilapia.

At Christmas we ALWAYS have shrimp and usually bacon wrapped scallops and oysters.

  21. The Grill Fillets – Lemon Herb looks yummy to me and yes we have seafood for the holidays, shrimp.

  22. The lemon herb grill fillets look so yummy!! We usually have chinese food on the 24th and that has some seafood in it and then turkey on the 25th.

  23. We don’t usually have seafood at Christmas but I’m sure it’s not unheard of. I’d try the NEW Classic Grill Tilapia.

  24. The Garlic Butter Shrimp Bowl must taste really good. And yes, I did have some seafood during the holidays.
