Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Christmas Carol Adventure (DVD & CD) – CLOSED

Dora the Explorer is my Latina cartoon heroine.  I had the opportunity to review Dora’s Christmas Carol Adventure on DVD and Dora’s Christmas on CD last year.  It’s hard to believe it’s already time to be talking about the wonderful season ahead already, but it’s true – we are!

This seasonal DVD is being re-released today, October 5th, with a few new features including a really cool Advent calender sleeve for the DVD.  Each day in December, your kids can remove one of the blocks to revel one of Dora’s friends.

It’s been nearly a year since I had the chance to test these products out and we did watch the movie and listen to the CD around the holidays frequently.  Once Epiphany arrived and we put all our Christmas decorations away, it was also time to put Dora away.  However, when we pull out the Christmas boxes (and boxes and boxes) this year, I’m sure we will be rocking out to Feliz Navidad and Swiper the Fox.  My daughter enjoys Dora and her adventures; and the lesson in the Christmas Story adventure is a good one for all kids (and adults to learn).
