Sunflower Girls Boutique – Pettiskirt – CLOSED

As you all know, my daughter recently turned 2. It’s amazing how time flies and how quickly she has grown. For her birthday, I wanted her to look extra girly. For those of you who don’t already know, although my daughter dresses in skirts and dresses, she is a true tom boy. So, for her princess themed birthday, I thought a nice flowy pettiskirt in pink and brown would be appropriate.

Sunflower Girls Boutique sent DD an adorable pink and chocolate pettiskirt. The skirt was a huge hit. All the other Mom’s (and even the dads), were asking where I found a “tutu” like that. I first let them know, that is actually is a pettiskirt and is different from a tutu. What I (and everyone else) like about the skirt is how thick and fluffy it is. The skirt has 3 layers of tulle which gives it extra puff! In fact, when my daughter was playing on the ground with her skirt on, I noticed right away that she (and I) didn’t have to pay attention while she was playing on the floor to see if diaper was making an unwelcome appearance. The skirt was so thick that it covers everything up, even while playing on the ground! This is perfect – especially for a tom boy.

The skirt fits my daughter’s waist fine, and if it was a little bit big, it’s not a big deal because it will give her some growing room. It’s made with a stretchy elastic. Like most things, I would suggest buying a size up, because they will always grow into it.

The Sunflower Girls Boutique pettiskirt was a huge success at the party. My daughter looked amazing and I can tell that she likes to wear it to. I just wish that there were more opportunities to wear this lovely skirt. She has a few parties coming up shortly, so I will probably put this on her. It’s also great for dress up.
