Nimli – 100% silk scarf – Nimli

I had the opportunity to review Nimli in the past, you can read the full review here.  Their scarfs are perfect the cool summer evenings.  This time around I received a black Silk Chiffon Wrap.  I actually haven’t had a chance to review this scarf myself.  The day it showed up in the mail, my Mother threw it around her over he shoulders and around her neck and I knew I didn’t’ have a chance.

The interesting thing about watching someone else review a product is that I can watch and see how often the product is worn.  This scarf ends up around my Moms neck nearly everyday – especially during those cool summer evenings.  I asked what she thinks of it and this is what she said “It’s very soft, light and it’s really nice, it’s nice to touch”.  I see her wear the scarf regularly and it looks like she really enjoys it.  I actually get more enjoyment out of the scarf seeing how much my Mom likes it.  The scarf is quite long but not very wide, it’s 72″ x 22″ which is smaller than the previous scarf I reviewed.  It’s 100% silk as well, and quite thin – almost see through.

My cousin is getting married at the end of the month, so I plan on asking my Mom to borrow my scarf back so I can wear it over my “little black dress”.  I think I will need it just to cover up a bit of my arms to make me feel comfortable and it  will keep me warm during the evening.   It’s a nice scarf that can be used night or day and the black colour is perfect for fancy or laid back occasions.  If black is too plain for you, then there is 110 colours to pick from!
