If you have been following me for a long time, you know that I have featured Luvali in the past. Jacqueline and her Mom, who are in Toronto, Canada saw a need for versatility, functionality and style when when created their reversible purses. You can read my previous review of the reversible tote here. Luvali is adding more products to their reversible line and one such product is perfect for summer.
Fore review, I received the Sun Fear hat is size 6 months – 2T. I also received the Sun Litten Hat in size 2T – 4T, but it was way too large for my daughter, more on this later. The Sun Fear hat is a green frog complete with 3D eyes and the saying “kiss me” with a little crown. I guess this may be more of a male hat, but my daughter seems to like it. The other side is a bear with 3D ears and says “Bear hug junkie” on it with hearts. This is a little more feminine and seeing as pink and brown is still really in fashion for girls, I tend to put it on the brown side more often than the green side. Although it’s super easy to turn inside out, if I do want to change it from a bear to a frog.
As you know, my daughter is almost 2. I thought for sure she would be in the bigger hat size 2T – 4T, but like I said, it really was too large for her head (no big deal, she can grow into it). It does nearly fit on my head (I could have a small head for an adult). The smaller hat, 6 months – 2T fits my daughter perfectly and may even have a little bit of growing room. I think she will be able to wear this hat throughout this summer and beyond. Once again, I wouldn’t say that my daughter has a small head, I think the sizing for the hats are generous.
The hats do not have chin straps, so if your child is really busy you will find yourself putting it on their head regularly. What I really like is how large the brims are the hat does it’s job by keeping the sun off my daughters head and face.
The hats that are available at Luvali are so adorable, there are bunnies, lambs, kittens, lions, bears, frogs, monkeys (why isn’t monkeys spelled monkies?). So there are lots of options for all sorts of children. All of the hats have different, cute little sayings.
Luvali has also added reversible organic onesies, 3 season hats and diaper bags. Buying from Luvali is like getting 2 things for the price of 1.
Luvali has been nominated for the Savvy Mom Entrepreneur award! Check them out here. (make sure to vote for them too)
