5 Lil Monkeys – Pair of Shoes – CLOSED

My daughter may nearly be only 2, but she already has a “you” obsession! She is always switching her “yous”, and even wants to wear them in the house. I actually think “yous” was one of her first real words! What are “yous”?!? Well, when you are 23 1/2 months old and can’t pronounce any word that starts with the letter “S”, that’s how you say shoes. It goes to show that women love shoes just by human nature.

The newest pair of shoes that little DD has added to her collection is a pair that we received from 5 Lil Monkeys. This is an online store that carries shoes for tiny feet. There are so many cute pairs of shoes at 5 Lil Monkeys that I really had a difficult time picking out a pair. Most of my daughters summer shoes are sandals or sneaker types that are good for playing out in the yard, so I thought I would get her something fancy for those nice summer evenings. I decided on a pair of See Kai Runs called Rebekah. These brown shoes with pink flowers are adorable! In fact, I love them so much I had forgotten that I had the exact same pair put away for my daughter for when she was older – oops. Oh well! If for some reason she were to ruin her beautiful shoes, it wouldn’t be much of a big deal (and as you can see below, even on nice quiet walks we still end up in the field playing soccer, fancy shoes and all).

What I love the most about these See Kai Run shoes is the strap. The entire length of the strap has velcro so you can really make these shoes as tight as you want. Some other shoes my daughter has does not have this capability. It sounds like something small, but it is something that makes See Kai Run shoes great. I also like that the edge of the soles are pretty thick because my daughter tends to drag her feet a little (we are going to a pediatrician this month to get it checked out). The extra thick sole makes a little buffer to protect the top part of the toe from getting too scratched.
