Toys R Us – $50 GC & $100 Gift Bag – CLOSED

The ultimate toy store is Toys “R” Us!  I even have to admit that when I go into that store I get all giddy over the fun toys, games and baby products.  Since it’s summer there are lots of great summer products that are in store right now.

Toys “R” Us is opening up or re-vamping 50 stores in the US, all the stores will be open by October 15th.

Having the opportunity to review something from Toys “R” Us, my husband and I hummed and hawed over nearly everything in the store.  We brought our daughter with us as well and rather than picking out a toy for her, we let her play around the store to see what she would like.  Seeing as she’s not even two you, you can probably imagine that she pretty much wanted everything in store.  She was playing with the bubble makers, trikes, balls, and plush toys…. and everything else.

After spending way too much time in the store, there are just so many things that we ALL wanted, we decided to get her a Disney Princess Quad.   Despite the suggested age being 3+, my neighbour has a battery powered Jeep that DD goes crazy over.

As soon as we walked through the front door, my daughter couldn’t stop saying “bike, bike, bike, bike, bike, bike, bike”, ( just imagine a broken record).  Although we were planning on making supper as soon as we got home, my husband and I knew that if we didn’t get this bike together right away we were never going to be able to eat supper.

It literary only took 5 minutes to put together (thank God, cause we were all hungry), the bike comes with all it’s own pieces to tighten the wheels and the battery was charged and ready to go (extra bonus).  Unlike other battery powered cars, this one actually plugs into the wall.  I think this is a great idea because I notice that my neighbour often forgets to have her sons Jeep charging overnight, I think it’s a large battery that needs to come our of the jeep.   However, unlike the Jeep, this is powered by pressing a button with your thumb.  I think this took DD off guard a little and although she sits on the Disney Princess Quad she’s a little hesitant with it.

Our experience at Toys “R” Us was really good (as always).  The customer service was excellent, we asked for prices on items and got fast answers.  And since we were buying a large item we had to get someone in the loading dock area to help us out as well.  We were very surprised as to how fast, easy and smooth it was to purchase the item to picking up the item.
