Bébé au Lait – Hooded Towel ($40) – CLOSED

I have featured the Bebe au Lait Hooded towel on MWV last  year, you can read the previous review here.  I love their towels so much that I wanted to feature them again as a great Summer Sun product.

Last time, I received the Hooded towel in mint and brown, this time I went for the parfait (pink and brown).  I guess I did things a little backwards when it comes to the towels…. I reviewed the toddler towel first and now am reviewing the baby towel.  The baby towel doesn’t have a magnet at the bottom of the hood and there is no little hand pockets on the corners.  I do like both these features in the toddler towel, but none the less the baby towel is just as functional (keeping my daughter dry) as the toddler towel.

One feature that has remained the same with both of the Bébé au Lait hooded towels is that the hood is actually along one of the sides of the towel rather than the corner.  This is a super quality because it means more towel to be wrapped around the child.  The towel is one size fits all for babies and toddlers ages 0 – 24 month.  My daughter is currently 22 months and I think she has quite a bit more growing room in this towel before it gets too small.  Right now when she walks around with her towel, the towel just comes above her feet making it safe to walk.  If you think about it, when we (as women) put a towel around us under our armpits, it usually reach between our thighs and knees.  So, I would say that this towel has a lot of growing room before it becomes too short.

What I love the best about the Bébé au Lait hooded towel is the pattern around the seems which is a few inches thick.  It really takes an otherwise plain white towel and really makes it something fantastic.   I really can’t use this towel anywhere without someone mentioning how fantastic it is.

Over all, I love our newest Bébé au Lait item and I am always more than pleased with Alan who works for Bébé au Lait.  His great customer service really makes an awesome product even better.
