If you have a few minutes, I will tell you all a really nice story about an amazing company.
It starts in September of 2008 (way before I started review blogging). I was nursing, and had only one bra to wear. I got it in the states months before, and it was a 42 DD. It was way to large around my torso, but it was the only bra that I could find that fit my bust. After using the same bra for a month, I knew I had to get another bra, so I went to my local baby store, and found out about Bravado! The clerk suggested I buy one of the bras with lots of stretch and I should have no problem keeping everything where it’s supposed to be. After putting the bra to the test, I noticed that as much as I loved the accessibility for nursing, I was popping out of the top of the bra (and it was the largest size they carried at the store). I still wore the bra regularly, because I could not find one nursing bra that fit me – any bra was better than no bra!
After I started review blogging, I thought about my Bravado bra and decided to contact them about my rather “large” problem. The people at Bravado were amazing and wanted to take on the challenge to find me the perfect bra. I measured myself above, around and below the bust area and with those figures Bravado sent a bra in 36 G. It was close, but the band was rising up in the back and my chest was popping out of the top again about 4 inches. (Believe me, there is no bragging going on here, after I am done having kids, these puppies are going under the knife).
Feeling a little bit sad, I let the good people at Bravado know! This made them want to try even harder at getting a good bra. I then received a few other bras from Bravado to try to get the right fit, but they were all too small in the bust. However, Bravado has something up their sleeve, just for people like me -they were actually adding to their line to incorporate bras that go up to J/K, and I would be one of the lucky ones to try them out.
After 5 Bravado bras in total, I finally received one that fits – perfectly, it is absolutely adorable and sexy! And here is the size – 34 J/K – OMGOODNESS. You will never believe this, but it’s been since May 2009, that I have been attempting to bring you a Bravado review – this is how dedicated the people there are to make sure Mom’s have a good nursing bra that fits. And I can say now, that they have a bra that will fit ANYONE and EVERYONE! If I can find a bra that fits, YOU will be able to find a bra that fits.
The bra is red and black – I’ve never had a bra in such nice colours. This is mainly because any specialty bra that I have bought (32 H, before pregnancy), cost upwards of $150, and at that price, my bra drawer was pretty bare. Bravado bras are only $50! I have a confession to make, I am wearing a nursing bra and have finished nursing. Yes – this is how much I love the bra, and honestly because of the price, I will be getting more. It’s also very comfortable, there is no under wire – which is also another amazing feature for a bra of this size.
Overall, I have been more than impressed with everything about Bravado, not only the bras, but the customer service is amazing as well. I have nearly 50 emails going back and forth with the same customer service rep, and it has been nothing but a pleasure to work with her.
Bravado gets a huge standing ovation from me.
