Eureka! – Sleeping Bag – CLOSED

I remember going for sleepovers as a child and having to bring this sleeping bag with me that was probably big enough to fit 2 adults and weighed probably about 10 pounds.  Sleeping bags have come a very long way in 20 years (Oh My Goodness, I can’t believe I just said that).   One such company that is making sleeping and camping gear easier to carry and more efficient is Eureka!

For review, Eureka! sent us the cutest kid sized Lady Bug sleeping bag.  The sleeping bag is called a Mummy bag (meaning it’s form fitting and tighter around the legs and feet rather than a big rectangle).  The sleeping bag is made with all the same material as the adult bag, but is only smaller.  I thought that it was going to be a lot smaller, but I can actually fit into it.  I am 5’2″, and I can get in the bag, zip it up and completely enclose my head – speaking of which has a string that can be pulled tight to cover your whole head.  The zipper at the top of the sleeping bag also has a little velcro covering so the zipper isn’t in your face all night or wont creep it’s way down while sleeping.

This cute light purple bag only weighs just over 2 pounds, and can be rolled up into a bag.  When I first opened up the sleeping bag, I thought I would never be able to fit the sleeping bag back in it’s original package, but I was able to roll it up and stuff it back in.  It  might not look as perfect, but it fits.

The sleeping bag is good for 30 degrees Fahrenheit or around freezing.  Now, I didn’t take this outside and sleep in it so I can’t say for sure how well it will keep you warm, but I did use it in my home on some chilly evenings, and it kept me more than toasty warm.

This is going to be the perfect sleepover sleeping bag for my little one when she starts wanting to spend the night at her friends house.  It’s light, warm, and pretty girly, there is even a little pocket for her to put a little teddy bear or toy in to stay close while shes away from home.

  1. You know, I really like the Magic 185 Lantern. I grew up in the outdoors…we’re talking the Colemans with the white lantern bags and real flame. Thus, nothing beats a multifunction lantern. 🙂 The fact that these don’t stink and can be redirected like a flashlight? Even better!

  2. I also like their chaise lounge slingback chair! Pretty nice!

If I had a choice, I’d get the ladybug sleeping bag for my daughter, she’d love it!

I’m also a fan on Facebook!

  3. I really want to take my sweet little boys camping this summer and the Eureka Titan Tent looks great

  4. I love the N!ERGY SCREEN HOUSE, as this would be great for those of us who live in Winnipeg where the mosquitoes can eat you alive.

  5. From the website I also like the Slingback Chaise Lounge with Carry Bag — this would be great to lounge on at the beach. Thanks for the great giveaway:)

  6. I think the Gear Lofts are an essential accessory for any tent! Keeps all the little items at arms reach and not lost under sleeping bags!

  7. searched the website, couldn’t find the same sleeping bag, but the ones i did find looked great too!!

  8. My daughter is going to her 2nd year of overnight camp. Last year she used an adult sleeping bag which was big and bulky. This sleeping bag would be great for her.

    LOVE the N!ergy 1210 Tent.

  9. I grew up camping with my family. I love the N!ergy 1310 Tent! So much better than the tent we had!

  10. I am so new to all of this still trying to figure it out ~ hopefully I have done it right….these are all so cute.

  11. Our tent was secondhand and now full of holes in the screen. Eureka has amazing tents…I can’t believe the condo one but the Copper Canyon 10 Tent
    would best suit my family.

  12. Okay I have a long shot in winning this but i would also like to try the Elite Party Tent

  14. I like the idea of the E! Power Reading Light. We go camping, and this would be great instead of propping up a flashlight to use.

  22. I’d love to have the N!ERGY SCREEN HOUSE. It would be wonderful to eat outdoors without the pesky mosquitoes and it has a 12 volt power system to use lights, radio, etc.

  23. Perhaps not yet, but when the kids get big enough a sleeping bag will just naturally have to go with a tent – such as Eureka’s Timberline SQ 4XT (room enough for daddy). 🙂

  24. I would love these chaise lounge slingback chair, for when we go camoing
