I was never great about pampering myself before having baby, so it would seem fitting that any nurturing opportunity would now be passed over or very, very short.  The funny thing is, I love delving into bubble baths and slathering lotions over myself, but I just almost never think to do it.  Bathing has become a necessity, not a luxury.  There are times, though, that I need a little treat as reward for a hard day’s parenting.

Essential Relaxation out of Ontario, Canada makes it easy and affordable to have pampering moments sprinkled into your day.  Made of all natural, high quality, plant-based ingredients and essential oils, these products are the perfect beauty regime for a busy life.  For review, I received a Bath Bomb, Whipped Shea Body Cream and a bottle of the Knot so Naughty Massage Lotion.

The Relax Bath Bomb was an explosive bit of fun that was soothing and helped me to unwind.  The beautiful (and relaxing) blend of geranium, ylang ylang and lavender lightly filled my bathroom and did not irritate the sensitive noses in our house.  After the fizz, the bomb left some bath salts to help soothe my muscles.  Surprisingly, my fifteen minute bath felt like a much longer luxurious soak.  After my bath, I was cuddling with my daughter.  She kept wriggling in closer and closer to me, giggling each time – I think she loved the smell of the bomb.  The bombs are also available in Balance Blend and Energy Blend.

The Knot so Naughty Hemp Massage Cream with a lavender, rosemary and thyme essential oil blend worked wonders.  The lotion absorbed just the right amount into the skin, making sure there was enough glide without feeling greasy.  The natural ingredients are geared toward getting the ache out of muscles and includes arnica, a botanical for inflammation and soreness.  The Massage Cream is also available unscented.

The Whipped Shea Body Cream with Lavender, Camomile and Rose Blend was a bit strong for our house, so I used it sparingly.  You actually only need a little to cover your dry patches anyway.  The solid cream melted easily into my skin.  Again, although it only took seconds to apply, the cream was a wonderful way to take care of myself without having to put in too much effort and time.
