My Wee Views Favs 2009: Better Life Green Cleaning Products – CLOSED

by tara on January 15, 2010

One of My Wee View Favs of 2009 that I had an opportunity to review this year is the Better Life Cleaning Products, you can read the full review here. Essentially, I love these green cleaning products! I use them every day in home and I’ve taken a bottle of the WhatEVER cleaner to my office.  I love the products because there are no harmful chemicals, nothing in them that is harmful to marine life as its rinsed away and each product is made with natural ingredients.

better-life1

As much as I think my home is clean, it could probably be cleaner as I spend as little of my time cleaning as possible so I need easy, fast and reliable. I want to know exactly what is in each product and I want to know its safe to use around my child. The creators of Better Life are parents themselves; with their full ingredient listing you know whats in and whats not in the products. Just in case you want to know more, the team at Better Life has excellent customer service, they have answered all my emails and usually within 48 hours (love this). Ridiculously cute packaging, great value for your dollar and a line of great smelling green cleaners that work, what else can a girl ask for?

Better Life is a MWV Fav of 2009!

While cleaning up Ben’s muddy paw prints on the glass door and Rachel’s ‘oops’ on the floor, Tim and Nancy, and Kevin and Tiffany realized their houses were actually worse off after cleaning than before they even started. Toxic residue from conventional cleaning products coated every surface in the house. Frustration lead to inspiration. Determined to create a better, safer, and more effective way to clean, BETTER LIFE was born.

I think the product labels are adorable, and that they remove more bacteria and dirt than traditional cleaners. It’s nice when a product works and helps the planet too.

I learned that Under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act, household cleaners are the only household products for which manufacturers are NOT required to list all ingredients.

Thank you

Thanks for the giveaway… Better Life blends highly specialized surfactants made from sugar, starch, and amino acids – all safe stuff. Also, their products have rapid biodegradation profiles. Over 99% of the ingredients they use are natural or derived from natural, renewable resources, and the formulas have no aquatic or terrestrial toxicity (making for some very happy amphibians). They use no nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs) because they mess with the reproductive systems of marine life.

The what-EVER Green All-Purpose Cleaner looks like a great product for cleaning all the messes around the house.

After visiting their site and reading the ingredients list, this looks like a product line that I’d be able to use. My grandkids have a long list of allergies so the ingredients are very important to me.

Even The Kitchen Sink is a gentle abrasive cleaner derived from natural sources. It’s even safe on your stainless sink and other non–porous materials. Now that’s a product I could really use.
