My Pal Scout has definitely earned his way into my daughters heart (and all of ours) and is definitely a My Wee View Fav of 2009.  We had the opportunity to review My Pal Scout earlier this year, you can read the review here.

Personalization is very important to parents and kids, I believe it gives children a sense of importance when something is made especially for them.  My Pal Scout, by LeapFrog is programmable with 1000’s of names to choose from.  You can also program your child’s favourite food, colour and animal.   Here’s the neat part, you can change My Pal Scout at anytime.  Unlike a personalized CD, My Pal Scout can be passed on from child to child, to change names and their favourite items, you simply have to plug the USB port into your computer and make the changes.

During the holidays LeapFrog made some Christmas songs available for download.  My husband plugged in My Pal Scout, and was able to add some popular Carols to her best friend.

Due to it’s ability to be personalized, teach kids (things like counting, and animal noises),and just it’s pure cuteness, My Pal Scout by LeapFrog is a MWV fav of 2009!
