Beibi Shoes – Winners Choice – CLOSED

As a parent, I try to be cognizant of my daughter’s unique and age appropriate wardrobe needs. She isn’t a senior, so buying dowdy duds is not in the cards. She needs (and looks good in) fun fashions that have practical written all over them. But because she is so young, her clothing choices also need to be appropriately priced; I am not keen on spending a lot of money on items that will only last for a month before she grows out of them.

The Beibi shoes I received for review has the philosophy to keep “fun in functional”. This Texan company was created with children in mind. Their reasonably priced footwear selections range from uber practical, like the Taylor shoes I received and Beibi’s tennis shoes, to trendy and fashionable, like their silver sequined boots. Beibi also carries a line of shoes called WeeSqueak, which squeak very time your child walks from heel to toe. This feature helps your child to learn to walk properly while allowing you to keep tabs on their whereabouts. In addition, Beibi carries shoe embellishments (which I have pictured here), to cute-up your purchases.

We have had children’s shoes that are so heavy and bulky my daughter had a difficult time lifting her feet; a big task when she is already trying hard to get her feet to do exactly what she asks of them. The Taylor shoes are wonderfully light and she actually had the inclination to keep them on. The particular model I received has a soft rubber sole that extends over the front of the shoe; this feature has helped to get her feet in front of her when she is going from a crawl position to an almost standing position by providing some much needed grip. I found that the shoes are a little larger in size than some of my daughter’s other shoes for that age sizing, so I suggest keeping this in mind when purchasing for the present.

Beibi is a feel-good company! The shoes are minimally, yet attractively, boxed in recyclable packaging. WeeSqueak actively gives back to the community – they have donated thousands of pairs of their product to needy children around the globe.
