On the surface, the availability of food storage containers does not appear to be much of an issue these days. You can go to any store to find a variety of plastic storage containers, but the whole process of purchasing these products is a real buyer beware nightmare. You can never really be sure what the containers are made from, what chemicals are lurking inside and exactly how much of those icky contaminants are leaching into your food. The main design of the thinkbaby set is a basic stainless steel container inserted in a polypropylene exterior (great for insulating) – all free of Bisphenol-A, PVC, Lead, Phthalates and Melamine. Each piece has parenting and first-dish loveliness written all over it. The Bento Box has a leak proof lid that snaps shut on all four sides, making it perfect for travel. The Baby Bowl is shorter and is the perfect size for my daughter to be able to reach in and grab bits of food. Although she isn’t yet ready for the thinkbaby Cup, I love the smallness of it and am looking forward to transitioning from our sippy to this funky mug. The utensils have a thermoplastic handle, making them easy to grasp and the size is just right for short arms and wild imaginations (I just have to get DD to keep them upright when moving from the bowl to her mouth).

• Not contain sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates, mineral oil, petrolatum, propylene glycol, artificial colors and synthetic fragrances, synthetic preservatives, petroleum-based ingredients, formaldehyde donors
• Not contain PVC
• Not contain bisphenol-A (BPA), PFCs, PBDE (polybrominated diphenyl ethers)
• Not contain heavy metals – including lead, mercury, cobalt, chromium, nickel, beryllium, arsenic, and cadmium
• Not tested on animals
• Not contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
