Shoes Under – CLOSED

Sometime in the last three years, I have made it my personal mission to clean up the clutter in my home and ditch the stuff I simply do not need. In the course of these three years, I have come into some unexpected troubles in reaching my goal. First, I did not think that I would continue to amass clutter. In fact, I thought that somehow the problem would somehow “disappear” with my piles and piles of things. Secondly, I came to the realization that while I may not use some things often, I invariably do want to keep them – just not in plain view.

shoes_under-before-afterWhen I received Shoes Under for review, I immediately knew that the solution to my problems (at least for my shoes and other small items) would be an easy storage system. It is true that we can only wear one pair of shoes at a time but in reality, who has just one pair? Compared to most women I know, my shoe collection is modest (and some would even say meager), but it still posed an interesting problem to my clutter ban.

What it is: Shoes Under is a way to store and protect up to twelve pairs of shoes. Think oversized shoe drawer with a handle that fits under your bed. Shoes Under has twelve pockets to keep twelve pairs of shoes neatly separated so it is easy to find just the right shoes when you need. If you have larger feet or really tall high heels, you may have a challenge fitting your shoes in the pockets. It is designed to keep your shoes dust, moister and bug free and ready to wear. The clear zippered see through cover allows you to find the right pair of shoes easily. Best of all, Shoes Under is designed to store and easily fit in the unused space under your bed. When my shoes are piled in the closet, they tend to bang into and mark one another – I often have to rub the scuff marks off of my dress shoes before I go out. The separate compartments in Shoes Under help to keep your shoes scuff and dirt free, a time saver by not having to polish before wearing. I can also see how, if you had (too) many pairs of shoes, it would save time searching for right pair.

If you have even fewer shoes than I do, Shoes Under is functional and practical for more than just storing your shoes. You can easily recruit this product to store other smaller items in your life like purses, winter mitts and hats, woolen socks, lego (especially if your kid has a lot of lego), etc. The price for these units is quite reasonable, so you can dream up many uses for them without breaking the bank.
