Our family loves playing in the water. We try to get in the ocean, lake or community pool to swim, bodyboard or just splash around as often as we can. Until we had our munchkin, we also snorkeled and figured we would either have to enjoy this activity alone while the other spouse stood on shore with the babe or we would just wait until our little starfish was old enough to don a snorkel and mask. I didn’t have my first snorkeling experience until I was well into my adult years; I can easily recall my amazement and how I was hooked with just one swim.

Explorer Snorkel Raft exclusively at iSnorkelThanks to iSnorkel, we do not have to wait to introduce our child to the thrilling world below the surface of the water. iSnorkel is a website dedicated to the whole family’s snorkeling and water needs. For kids alone, iSnorkel carries water toys, life vests, fins, masks, snorkels, snorkel vests, accessories, books, tote bags, swim gear, snorkeling rafts, clothing, wetsuits of all designs, rashguards, swimsuits, water shoes, sun and skin suits, etc. (whew!) Their inventory of adult snorkeling gear, which includes cameras, will convince you that you can do ALL of your shopping at iSnorkel.

For review, I received the Sea Window Jellyfish (Floating Snorkeling Window) and a Sea Window Explorer Snorkeling Raft, both exclusive to iSnorkel. These inflatable devices are perfect for those who do not want to or cannot use a mask and snorkel. The Jellyfish is a small unit, measuring a little larger than a square foot. The Explorer raft is large enough for a small child to almost completely lie down or an adult (up to 130 pounds) to rest most of their upper body on. Each has a window is specially designed with Aqua-Optics, delivering clear underwater vision and magnifying at 25%.

Jellyfish Sea Window exclusive to iSnorkelWith much anticipation, we took these fun snorkeling inflatables to the pool. Both the raft and the Jellyfish window were perfectly fun and engaged both our daughter and her 3 year old companion. The Aqua-Optics window allowed the kids to see what was happening below them, which was particularly exciting for the 3 year old as he has a fear of putting his face in the water. And no burning eyes! We (the adults) swam under the raft and waved while the little ones squealed with excitement; I can’t tell you who had more fun – the kids or the adults!

iSnorkel‘s website is packed full of information about water safety, snorkeling tips and a comprehensive section for customer reviews on each product they sell. iSnorkel is BBB (Better Business Bureau) accredited and they sell gift certificates (subtle hint to all my family members out there).
