Christmas Gift Idea for Preschoolers

Dora’s back, and this time she is on a mission with Swiper the Fox to learn the spirit of Christmas.  Swiper get’s put on the naughty list after doing what Swiper does best (swiping things).  In an effort to get put on the good list, they travel to the past and future to make things right.

Here is a synopsis:

doras-christmas-carolThis holiday season, children everywhere are invited to join Dora and Swiper as they explore the past, present and future of Christmas in the all-new Nickelodeon direct-to-DVD feature-length adventure Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Christmas Carol Adventure.  Along with this brand new holiday retelling, the DVD contains six minutes of bonus footage not airing in the TV special and two exclusive music videos.   In the DVD premiere episode, Swiper tries to swipe the Christmas tree star.  As a result, he lands on Santa’s naughty list.  Dora appeals to Santa who says that if Swiper can learn the true spirit of Christmas, he will come off the naughty list. Filled with original songs, exclusive extra scenes and much more, Dora’s Christmas Carol is a must-see viewing event for the entire family.

The whole family enjoyed Dora’s Christmas Carol Adventure.  The movie has the same exploring theme, but this time rather than finding their way through 3 different places, they have to help Swiper get ornaments on a Christmas Tree. My daughter loved dancing to the music which are also on Dora’s Christmas CD, which we had an opportunity to review in the past.   In the end, with the help of Dora and some old and young characters, Swiper understand the spirit of Christmas, and is put on the nice list.
