Divado – CLOSED

I loved the 80′s… I still can be caught belting out the tunes to many a classic Duran Duran and Platinum Blonde tune, much to my husbands aching eardrums. I loved the leg warmers in hot pink, I still love the music and of course who could not love the big hair? While it has calmed considerably since my wild hair days of senior high school, I loathe a flat iron. Each time I have my hair cut and styled, out comes the flat iron. I tell them not to bother, I am a child of the 80′s. Seriously, I like a bit of oomph to my hair. There is the classic joke of not just teasing hair but driving it crazy. Yes, I was one of those young ladies who spent all their allowance on lipstick and hair products, and most of my free time spraying, curling, spraying again, teasing, back combing and then smoothing. No wonder I failed math, I spent all my time on my hair. In retrospect, I think I may have spent too much time in front of the mirror but I did had really great hair.

In an effort to reduce time in front of the mirror (do and undoing) and eliminate all the damage that can be caused by trying to create the perfect glam do, Brandie Park created the Divado Hair volume enhancing hair inserts. Great idea for those who want the fashionable diva style of an up-do without the cost and time of a salon and without the pain and damage of doing it yourself. The Divado comes in two styles; the Audrey which is perfect for creating the classic sophistacated do and the Brigette style which is perfect for adding that little bit of volume most of us need. Wondering if it will blend in with your color? No need, each style comes in three colors; black, brown and neutral.

I received for review the Brigette Divado in natural.  The Divado arrived in the most beautiful fuschia pink packaging complete with a double sided 4 page instruction/ FAQ manual. At first I was a bit hesitant and not really sure how to use the Divado.  Seems like it would be quite self explanatory but I was pleased to find the easy to follow the step by step instructions with pictures to make sure everything goes smoothly. The Divado is made from surgical grade silicone (BPA free and hypo allergenic) and stays in place with one plastic hair clip.

Go from the office to date ready within minutes. Its been a long time since I’ve spent anymore than 10 minutes at a time on my hair, I was surprised how easy my hair could go from to now to wow. I have about 5 minutes in the morning to get my hair ready, luckily the Divado takes less than that. So easy it can be used for day to day use as well as those extra special occasions such as a wedding, prom, pageant etc. I only wish I had this for my wedding, my hair took two hours to do and one very painful hour to remove the bobby pins (all 96 of them…yes I counted, I had an hour to find them). The Divado goes in and stays easily and comes out even easier, it is ideally suited for those who have long enough hair for a ponytail.

The Divado would also be a great way to get a quick, fantastic Christmas look!

I like the Brigitte the best. :)

The link I clicked did not take me to the Divado website…??
My fave item on that site is the Lisbon Scentsy Warmer.
