A few months ago, I brought you all a review of an amazingly stylish and functional umbrella from Cheeky Umbrella, you can read the review here.  Nova Scotia has put this this umbrella to the test this fall – we have had more rain and wind than imaginable.  Despite the relentlessness rainfalls and world winds, this umbrella keeps it’s form (has not yet turned inside out), keep me dry – and looking good – which is most important.

Cheeky Umbrella is back on My Wee View – this time with a little something for the kiddies.  The new Cheeky Umbrella line features the same cute sayings that will brighten anyones rainy day, but are just miniature - so they are even cuter.

For review, Cheeky Umbrella sent us the “Still Cute Kids” umbrella.  The saying is “rain or shine, I’m still cute”, and yes DD certainly is.  This bright white umbrella with pink flowers, rainbows and bunnies also features reflective tape along the edges, which is an excellent safety feature, especially this time of the year when it gets dark very early in the evening.  The children’s umbrella has a manual button for opening – which is probably a very smart idea considering children would probably poke each other’s eyes out with the automatic release on the adult umbrella.  The tips are also well rounded and plastic to keep eyes safe.  The umbrella is made with a  light weight fiberglass to stay strong against both the harsh weather and the wrath of children.

DD is only 16 months right now, and although she can hold the umbrella in her hands, she can’t quite get it to stay over her head, however, I figure in a few months she will get the hang of it.  Despite not being able to properly use the umbrella over her head, she uses it as a walking stick quite well, and looks adorable using it around the house.   The Cheeky Umbrella has stood up to her banging (despite wearing dresses she is not a dainty girl).

My family has been very pleased  by the products at Cheeky Umbrella, both the adult and child’s umbrella have surpassed any expectations that one could have for an umbrella.  Recently while out with co-workers, my umbrella was the topic of conversation (yet again), and everyone agreed that it was the best made umbrella they have seen.  They were amazed that it was double lined and not turning inside out with all the wind we were having – not to mention how good I looked in the pouring rain.  The Cheeky Umbrella is something that everyone will enjoy and be proud to wear on a dreadful day.
