Remembrance Day

remembrance-day

Hope you all have a wonderful Remembrance Day!  Today is such an important day to celebrate.  It is because of people like both my grandfathers and thousands of others that fought in wars that we live in the wonderful free country that we live in today!  Some paid the ultimate price, and others (like my grandfather) found love while on the other side of the world.

It is also important to remember that there are thousands of men and women out there today still fighting.  Whether or not we agree with war, these people are out there everyday risking their lives on behalf of our country, so remember to support the troops.

Take a few minutes out of your day today, to think of all the wonderful things we are able to do, and Thank a veteran.

Today was the first time I ever traveled on Remembrance Day, and it was amazing at 11:00 am everything stopped at the airport.  Not a single  person boarding, nothing on the intercom, it was complete silence.  It was spectacular to see and feel.

Happy Remembrance Day
