Monsters Inc. is one of those movies that I can watch over and over again (and I have). Today, November 10th, Monsters Inc. is released for the first time on Blue-Ray High-def.
Here is a synopsis of Monsters Inc.
James P. Sullivan- “Sulley”- (voiced by John Goodman) and Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) work for Monsters Inc., the utility company that generates energy from the fright of children. Sulley, the No. 1 scream-generator at the plant accidentally lets in a little girl into their world. Returning her home safely and undetected proves to be a monstrous challenge! Monsters Inc. is a hilarious movie that the whole family will enjoy – even especially parents. All the characters are well developed, and I’m sure you will be able to place each character to someone that you know in your office. And little “Boo” is adorable, and is sure to touch the hearts of everyone, she along with Mike Wazowaski!, Mike Wazowaski!, Mike Wazowaski! are my favourite.
Although children are afraid of monsters, we quickly learn that the monsters are probably more afraid of children. My favourite part of the movie is when one of the monsters gets a sock on their back, causing a security breach “code 2319″. It’s too funny to see how overboard health and safety is.
There are also plenty of bonus features. If you like Roz – the dispatcher that should have retired 20 years ago, you will enjoy ROZ’S 100 DOOR CHALLENGE. If you think you have what it takes to be a Monsters, Inc. employee? Roz will be the judge of that with her 100 Door Challenge. Deal with whatever is behind each new door.
