Christmas Gift Idea for anyone on your list that likes really nice things

My daughter just recently turned one, which means time for pictures to capture one of life’s important moments. Picture time means finding the perfect outfit. DD has many wonderful outfits, but I wasn’t sure what to put her in. I knew it had to be something very special and over the top. When I was in touch with Layla Grayce, I came across an outfit that I knew would be perfect for her professional photo shoot.

Layla Grayce sent us a Pink Ruffled Pettiskirt and matching tank top for review. The best way to describe this outfit is OHMYGAWD! The Pettiskirt and tank top are just incredibly adorable. Before receiving the package in the mail, I thought the skirt, would be similar to a tutu. Although there are similarities, it is way more puffy and is not the same material. The Pettiskirt is much softer than a tutu as it is made out of chiffon which also makes the skirt flowy, with every step DD takes, the baby pink Pettiskirt bounces up and down – too cute. The Pettiskirt is also a lot thicker than a tutu, it can be worn with or without anything underneath and no one will know what type of diaper she is wearing. Although there is only 2 layers of material, all the extra bunching and ruffles makes the skirt appear to have at least 5 layers. The skirt I received is in a size 18 months, but it seems to fit DD perfectly right now at only 14 1/2 months (I know, I know, I said it was for her 1 year photos, we were a little late in getting them done). The Pettiskirt has an elastic waist which means she will be able to wear this for quite a long time. As she gets taller, the skirt will just continue to get a little shorter, no big deal really because right now it is calf length. While on our way to the photo shoot, I had the skirt around my arm and people were stopping me along the way to talk about how adorable it was.

layla-grayce-pettiskirt Along with the skirt, I also received a matching tank top. On the Layla Grayce website, the tank top has only 3 matching ruffled flowers along the collar. The top that I received had 5 smaller flowers, which in my opinion is a much better look. The cutesy tank top sure does finish off the outfit, and like the website suggest, you should get a size up as the sizing is a little bit small. I always love to get a full matching outfit because it takes the guess work out for me. I would suggest getting the top to match the Pettiskirt as you will never be able to get a top that matches as perfect.

The outfit as a whole is very well made, completely adorable, and I will ensure she gets to wear it to many parties. This is her most outstanding outfit to date.
