Softlips – Gift Pack, New Winter and Pure line – CLOSED

by Mommy on October 14, 2009

Wintertime is coming and you all know what that means – cold feet and dry lips.  If there is one thing I can’t stand just as much as cold feet it’s cracked and dry lips.  It hurts so much and just makes me feel so insecure.  I’m sure you have all heard about this next company, Softlips.  Softlipss is a product which I have been using for a long time to keep mylips moist and feeling fresh, especially during the wintertime.

For review, SoftLips sent a number of different soft Lips products.  Although I have always been familiar with their line of lip balms, I did not know that they now carry organic lip conditioners and tinted lip conditioners.  Softlips also sent some of their newest products to review  - the winter limited edition flavors and Softlips PURE lines.

The limited edition winter line has some amazing flavors like Winter Mint, Sugar Cookie, Sugar and Spice and Sugar Plum Berry.  These all sound so wonderful – they are good enough to eat.  The great part is, they smell just as good (if not better).  Not only do they smell good, they make my lips feel marvelous. They make my lips feel just so soft, and it lasts a very long time.  I put this on during the day and it lasts a long while and also put it on at night.  If I wake up in the middle of the night I can still feel the Softlips on my lips keeping them  moist and soft.  They also have SPF 20, which is equally important in the winer as it is in the summer.

The Softlips Pure line has some all natural flavours such as Peppermint, Honeydew, Chai tea, Acai Berry and Papaya.  These also smell spectacular and are true to their name.  Although these products are organic, there is no loss in quality.  They are made with organic oils, beeswax and shea butter, along with vitamin E.  None of the products are tested on animals either.

It’s hard to pick a favourite in either the Winter or Pure lines as they are all spectacular. But overall, it would have to be the Vanilla from the Winter addition.  I just love the smell of vanilla, and the Softlips vanilla smells wonderful.  Sometimes I find vanilla can be a hit or miss scent, and this one is bang on.  All the scents are not over powering and just leave a very small hint of the scent behind.  Despite my workplace being scent free, I am able to wear the Softlips products and no one seems to mind.

Softlips has excellent products and the Softlips limited edition winter flavors and Softlips Pure lines are an excellent edition to this already great line.

I’m excited to see Softlips PURE in the fragrance-free formula. My husband is allergic to everything scented, so it would be a great option for our family. He’d love to work in a fragrance-free zone like you do; he’s surrounded by women who wear heavy perfume. They regular cause him to have asthma attacks just by walking into his office!
