snog

They say a kiss is just a kiss, I beg to differ. Ask anyone (translation: girl) to recall the details of their very first kiss and most will be able to tell you all the gory details of their very first kiss. Mine was in the 5th grade, we were playing spin the bottle and I was kissed for about 10 seconds…that’s a really, really long time when you are 10 and in a room full of other 5th graders.

Its been many, many years since my first kiss and I’ve lived a lifetime of kisses since. After my university days,  I enjoyed a two year hiatus and trekked around England. While traveling around one of the biggest lessons I learned is that people are people; regardless of geography, economic status or education, people have the same basic needs in common and we all need to have those needs met; food, shelter, companionship and above all, we want to be loved. Living in the UK  was quite the experience for me, although the Brits speak English, their vocabulary is speckled with many colloquialisms an a an amazing assortment of words I had never heard before; a loo is a bathroom, a fag is a cigarette, a leg over is a sex and a snog is a kiss or a cuddle.

As the Brits would say, I was quite chuffed (happy) to receive for review “Snog Balm”, one because the name amuses me so, two because it is such a teeny weeny size at approximately half the size of a standard lip balm and last but not least,  the “virgin cherry” flavor, its quite yummy.

Snog Balm comes in 4 delicious flavors: Virgin Cherry, Naked, Cheeky Mint and the coming soon Strawberry Tease. The packaging for the Pocket Size Lip Balm is unisex; it has  a silver case, perfect for boys and girls.

Additionally cute, on the back of each package card features varying Snog stories – short stories that capture first, favorite, outrageous, or witty Snog moments submitted by Snog Balm customers. My favorite is this one submitted by Kelly in New York “”I was taking salsa lessons and every few minutes we had to change dance partners. I was very nervous about my dance steps and wasn’t paying much attention that my new partner was the hottest guy in class. When I finally looked up from my feet, he planted a Snog directly on my lips.”

How adorable is that story? Visit the website Snog Balm to see more stories of memorable kisses.  With just the right amount of scent and a bit of Vitamin D, Snog Lip Balm is the perfect start to a great Snog.

I’d be inclined to make a deal with you on this. Which is not something I usually do! I enjoy reading a post that will make people think. Also, thanks for allowing me to speak my mind!
