Gold Canyon – Gift Package – CLOSED

I love having candles on in my home. Over the years, I have tried many different flavours and brand names of candles, some have been inexpensive and other have been overpriced. The candles that I received from Gold Canyon have the absolute most divine scents that have ever made it into my home – and are affordable as well.

Gold Canyon has a large assortment of candles, bath and body products and home products. The candle line at Gold Canyon have names that are good enough to eat (actually, the website has a few different categories, with one topic being edibles). Other scents include blooms, Essential Oils, Fresh, Market and Nature. Each line has a huge assortment of delectable candles in different sized votives ranging from tealights to 26 oz. jars. I’m sure that everyone will be able to find their favourite secents at Gold Canyon, whether you love the smell of fresh flowers, the woods, a walk on the beach, or oranges there is something for everyone.

For review, Gold Canyon sent us the Coconut Pecan Brittle in a 13 oz jar. First, I have to say that the presentation of the candle is excellent. The jar came with a ribbon and looked like it was all wrapped up as a present. I was actually quite surprised as to the size of the jar as well. 13 oz doesn’t really sound like very much, but to be honest, I think it is the perfect size for a candle, anything much larger and it almost be too big.

Now onto the smell, I wish computers and the internet had the ability to add scratch and sniff, because I can make you all a promise – if you smelled this candle, each and every one of you would buy it. It is just so delicious. The candle is a Coconut and Pecan Brittle explosion, even when it is not lit, the candle fills the room with it’s amazing scent. When the candle is on, the whole house has a marvelous sweet scent that will have everyone craving Pecan Brittle. The candle can burn for hours – around 100, I have used it for at least 5 hours and there hardly seems to be a dent in the wax. This is something that your home needs for the holidays or when you are selling your house (one of those HGTV tricks). The candle brings a wonderful warm feeling to your home.

I was also sent the Pomegranate candle from Gold Canyon in an 8 oz jar. This scent is also delicious. I would say it even smells better than pomegranate tastes. If you have never tried a pomegranate before, you just have to taste it, not only is it delicious, it also has many health benefits. The pomegranate smell is just so sweet and once again fills the whole house with a marvelous sweet and fresh smell – something that reminds me of summer time – it could be that it has a similar smell to a martini. On other days it reminds me of a Christmas smell that makes the house feel all warm inside. This candle can burn up to 50 – 65 hours giving of the pomegranate smell right until the last drop of wax is burned off.

The last item that Gold Canyon sent for review is part of their Be Green, Be Clean line. It is an all-purpose Rosemary Mint spray that can be used for cleaning. This is a gentle cleaner that can be used on just about anything in your home. The spray not only leaves the house looking clean, it also gives it a very fresh smell afterwards. The best part about the cleaner is that it is all natural, so there are no nasty chemicals that can stay in the air and end up in places like your lungs! The cleaner is plant-based infused with essential oils of rosemary, peppermint, eucalyptus and spearmint. So you can all just imagine the fresh smell it leaves behind. The bottle comes in 35 fluid ounces and has a spray trigger which makes it easy to get the cleaner out.

Gold Canyon has definitely left a huge positive impression on my whole family. My daughter that is not yet 15 months old loves to smell the candles (and so does the rest of the family). And I love that the all purpose cleaner is easy to use on nearly all surfaces and is safe.
