Dora is easily a family favourite, it is a cartoon that I can watch, and can keep my daughter entertained as well.  Many cartoons are too much for me to  handle – especially at 6 am in the morning.  Thankfully, there is a new Dora DVD, that we can all watch any time of the day.

dora-savesDora Saves the Crystal Kingdom is the same as the Dora we have all come to love, but it is a longer than a regular tv show, so it keeps the family entertained longer than 1/2 an hour.  In the movie Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom, Dora and her friend boots help Alli – a character from a book Dora is reading, bring colour back to the Crystal Kingdom.  A King stole all the crystals that bring the Crystal Kingdom its colour, so Dora, boots and Alli must get the crystals back so the kingdom can be colourful again.

The movie is much the same as the tv show, with the map and backpack helping along the way.  The adventure brings the friends through 4 different stories to save the Kingdom.  I like listening to the Spanish words, and my daughter loves the songs.  She bops her knees up and down while the music plays.

The DVD, Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom also comes along with 2 new episodes, and included with the release of the DVD also comes new toys.  Fisher Price is releasing Dora Crystal Kingdom Styling Head and the Dance with Me Dora Crystal Kingdom Doll.  Looks like we all know what the toddlers in your family will be getting for Christmas this year!
