Baby Butterfly Boutique – $50 Gift Certificate – CLOSED

We have received bags and bags of hand me downs, which we love, use and then share the bounty with other parents in our circle of family and friends. We tell people not to buy us anything, that we are all stocked up for the next six months or more. (We have this conversation with our daughter’s Nana every week). Sure, every once in a while we see something we really, really love and we must have it, but largely we are filled to the rafters with everything baby.

Until this. Do you think you have everything for baby? Are you sure? The reason I ask is this: if you have not shopped at Baby Butterfly Boutique then your answer is no. After receiving two Pink Axle baby hats for review, I was intrigued and visited the site (more on this in a moment). The hats, one brown with a pink skull and the other pink with a distressed guitar decal were certainly out of the normal range of baby apparel we receive. It was the very first time that I received an excited “cool” from my husband when I showed him our daughter’s latest fashions.

The website was a cornucopia of all things funky and edgy for baby and mom. The product list includes organic hand knit baby clothing, handmade quilts, slings, Rockin’ Baby Wear (an adorable collection of rocker tees and onsies with band themes from AC/DC, Alice Cooper, etc.), décor pieces, a very cool selection of shoes, a wonderful array of bath towels (I strongly encourage that you check these out) and much, much more. Make sure you spend some time reading the Text Message Baby onsies – colourful, witty and oh so fun. So, although we do not really need anything else for our daughter, I filled out a suspiciously long wish list and handed it to the grandmothers.

Baby Butterfly Boutique’s founder was also struck by the need for unique baby items and thankfully created a one stop shop for like minded parents. Sonja (the founder) makes sure that all of the products offered through Baby Butterfly Boutique are natural (BPA, phthalate and lead free).
