To have a happy experience when deciding to purchase a house, experts will agree that location is of the greatest importance. When raising a baby, I’ve figured out routine is very important. I have been blessed with a very pleasant child; he sleeps well, eats well and lucky for us, through each stage of his development he has basically put himself on a routine. It’s very easy for us to tell when he is tired or hungry as we can tell by the clock what to expect from him. As much as I would like to take credit for this, our dude loves a pattern and pretty much follows it within a few minutes everyday. One of our favorite parts of the day is bath time; we relax, we sing, we play. We have a wonderful assortment of bath products and toys (thanks to our friends and family who gave us wonderful shower gifts) and we both love the bath time ritual. He has recently figured out that kicking while in the bath soaks mommy and he squeals with delight.

After bath we have a bit of tummy time to air dry, some snuggling and of course a massage. We were given for review the Soothing Mint Lime Calming Body Lotion from Naturally Baby. Naturally Baby is a part of the line of Upper Canada Soaps and I have been a big fan of many of their brands for years so I was especially happy to try to their baby line, Naturally Baby.

Soothing Mint Lime Calming Body Lotion smells exactly like it sounds. It is a crisp mint scent, not too much but just the right amount to smell pleasant but not overpower with senses. The cream is quite rich to the touch and the best thing about Naturally Baby is it is non-greasy. You have to be so careful about the products you use, so many contain lots of unnecessary products, are too heavily perfumed and they may stain clothing because of the added chemicals. As a new mom and a green consumer, the Naturally Baby line has several things I look for in a product; it is made from all natural plant derived ingredients such as Soybean Oil and Aloe, its paraben free, mineral oil free and does not contain synthetic dye. Why do these things matter? In my opinion, less is more. Anything that is put on your skin should have as many natural ingredients as possible and as few ingredients as possible. Why does a baby product need dye? As a green consumer its up to each and every one of us to look at the product ingredients and to decide what is best for you and your baby. Naturally Baby  makes a great line of baby products; shampoo, blanke wash, room freshener just to name a few.

We look forward to our bath time, its the time of day when the computer is off, the phone is off and we concentrate completely on each other.
