We finally did it – we got a new stroller.  The old stroller that we had is just so humongous, it had all the bells and whistles to go along with it, and it treated us good.  But now that Genevieve is getting bigger we seem to be bringing her a lot more places, which means in and out and in and out of the car over and over.  I had had enough of taking that stroller out of the back of the car, so we got a tiny rinky dink little stroller and it is so much easier to take out of the car, but I do miss all the storage and the extra features that the other stroller has.

The one feature I miss the most, is the canopy that shaded Genevieve from the sun.  The new stroller, does’t even have a shade, but thankfully there is a little attachment, The Shadybaby that I can simply attach to the stroller and she is blocked from then sun.  The clip has a very large range that should fit on almost any stroller bar.  The Shadybaby is like an umbrella that has a clip that easily twists onto the stroller bars and had a bendy section (like a bendy straw) at the top of the umbrella that can move around to make sure that the sun is never on the baby.   The umbrella also has a section that can move around the clip, but I found it easier to move the Shadybaby around at the bendy part.

The Shadybaby also looks amazing.  It is black and white with a red ruffle all the way around and is called the Red Ruffle Damask.  The umbrella definitely over takes the stroller in beauty.  The stroller isn’t much to look at, but the umbrella sure gets some nice looks and is way way way prettier than the stroller.  The umbrella is absolutely beautiful.  Once again, an item that has both function and fashion.

Shadybaby can be used on many more items than just strollers, I’m thinking it could go onto a camping chair or a wheelchair as well.  It has UV protection and can also be used as a real umbrella as well (to protect from the rain). It is small and easy to carry around in the car, and folds down very easily as well.

I use the Shadybaby every time I go out with the new stroller and have been very pleased with both the function and style of the umbrella.  For only $35, it is a great accessory that has many functions.
