If you are looking for something with attitude for your toothless bundle, Ruthless & Toothless is sure to deliver. You will not find any pink teddy bears, or fluffy bunnies at Ruthless & Toothless. All the art on their clothing is done by tattoo artists, and go straight from the sketch pad onto your child’s clothing, which makes for some hip duds with lots of ’tude.
For review, Ruthless & Toothless sent DD some bold and sassy outfits. The first, is the Chinese Samurai/ninja onesie (I’m not up to date on my Asian warrior/fighters). The onesies is designed by Chris Garver and Yoji Harada – tattoo artists. The fine detail in this onesie is amazing. Everyhing from the Red sun and huts in the back ground to the shield outfit and helmet the Samurai is wearing. The colours are also very vibrant, with yellows, reds, blues and whites. I can say that DD does not have anything in her wardrobe that resembles this – and she has A LARGE wardrobe. The onesie is a size 12 months, and I would say the size is bang on – even with a cloth diaper. The snaps on the onesie are a little bit finicky to get on, but they will not come undone at all while she is on the move.
The second item I received from Ruthless & Toothless is a t-shirt with a Popsicle, some roses and a top hat designed by Darren Brass. When I see this onesie, I think of Guns n Roses. This was by far my favourite band in the 80′s and 90′s, so the t-shirt really puts a smile on my face. There is something about the roses that brings me back to that place in time. I think the t-shirt is just the right amount of grownup (the roses and top hat), and fun (the Popsicle). It’s cute without being cutesy and baby. The colours are nice and bright and once again there is fine detail in the drawing as well. The t-shirt is 12 months and fits DD great right now, she is almost 11 months.
What I think is a really nice touch about the Ruthless & Toothless outfits is the back. There is a little Ruthless & Toothless logo on the bottom in the back! I thought this was a really nice touch to add to their clothing. It’s one thing to have a nice front, but when a company also takes the time to make sure the back of a shirt looks great too, you know that they care about their products.
If you want something that is a little out of the ordinary, has a bit of attitude, and not customary Ruthless & Toothless will sure fit the bill. They carry funky dresses, hoodies, tanks and beanies. Their clothing starts at sizes 0 months to size 6T, so you can keep your little one looking trendy and hip. Some lines go straight up to size 12.

Tatoos… hmmmm Not sure I have a straight answer for how I feel about them. Personally, I’d never get one. Too afraid of what it’ll look like it X amount of years. lol But some of the tattooing now-a-days does look like an amazing piece of art and I love that.
